@princex --- Welcome to the forum :)!  I think you will enjoy TS4.  It's easier to work the buttons, and the characters have more socials --- some of which are hilarious.  I just started playing TS3 this week, and I did enjoy raising a toddler, driving a car, and the plethora of unique toddler/children's toys --- although TS4 has some great children's toys.  Also, open world is awesome.  Therefore, I think that both TS3 and TS4 have their own special benefits!

I'm a long time lurker and, in fact, closely followed several Immortal Dynasties and Townie DecaDynasties for awhile way back when! Now I'm back and hope to perhaps get a challenge of my own going. Eventually. :D

I would honestly love to do an TS3 Immortal Dynasty, since I always loved those, but I'm not sure anyone here cares about TS3 stories anymore? :x Ah well -- perhaps after I get the hang of TS4 I'll like those dynasties just as much. :p (I preordered, but never really touched the game... whoops! After awhile, though, creating gender neutral and trans sims in TS3 got annoying and I just had to make the switch for those lovely, lovely gender customization tools!)

I mostly haven't played a lot of TS4 yet because TODDLERS, tbh!
Hi there @princex, welcome to the forums!
The Sims 3 story boards are actually fairly lively, feel free to stop by! I know several people who still post plenty of Sims 3 stories. =)

@princex  Welcome to the forum.  You'll find plenty of Sims 3 stories to suit any taste.  I personally write for the Miscellaneous Stories board because I consistently fail at my dynasties, so good luck with those.  Many authors have links to their stories in their signature blocks as you will see in mine or you could cruise the index of the topic that most excites you.  Enjoy!

Hi everyone! I'm a high school student from Australia (Yay Aussies!) and I've been lurking around this site for years. I've only just decided to finally register so I can participate in the 2017 challenge tournament. I love challenges and want to start doing more with Sims 4 because without a goal, I find it doesn't really feel fulfilling like the Sims 3 did. So I'm excited to actually play and be a part of this community!

:) Sul sul! You can call me Cla. I'm a long-time Sims player (been playing since I was a wee little one, starting from the original Sims game ;D). I'm only starting The Sims 4 recently, though, and I find that somehow I like the features more than The Sims 3 even though many things look rather sterile :-X At any rate, hello to everyone and hope to get to know more people around. Have a great day, everybody ;D

@Cla --- Welcome to the forum :)!  Have fun becoming accustomed to The Sims 4.  I think The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 are both enjoyable to play.

Hi @Bluebelle9 (yah for another Aussie) and @Cla.  Welcome to the forum.  I'm sure you will enjoy the challenges Bluebelle9.  The Moderators and members here go to a lot of effort to make them both interesting and challenging.  Enjoy!  ;D

Hi there! I last was really into the Sims when Sims 2 was out. Then there were computer issues and money issues and well, I entirely missed Sims 3. I am enjoying Sims 4 a lot and have been lurking on this board a bit. Thought I'd formally join.

Awkward introductions are awkward.

Hello, forum!
I'm a 19 year old girl from Denmark that has been playing The Sims for more than 10 years. I've played The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4, but am currently only playing The Sims 3 with all expansion packs and stuff packs installed. I enjoy playing a variety of different aspects of the game, but my top three types of gameplay are probably dynasty-legacy-descent families, supernatural life states and achiever households in which I have a couple of sims completing all the challenges of the game. My favorite expansion pack is probably World Adventures just because I enjoy exploring tombs quite a lot and because I'm very interested in archaeology in real life. I have been lurking on the forum for a while and have been reading the guides for years, but it took me quite a while to register and become an active part of the forum. I hope to publish a story on the storyboard before long. Until then, thank you for having me and happy holidays to all!

Hiya,
I've belonged to this forum for a long time, but don't know whether or how often I've posted.  It's been that long.  The main reason I'm posting now is that I need to change the email addy you have on file for me.  Can someone give me a link to the right page to do that?  I went to "Home" but didn't see "Profile" as directed on the FAQ page.
Thanks!
Babbaroni
