Welcome Balkor! :D

I know exactly how you feel, I'm pretty incompetent when it comes to building appealing houses. I get a nice one now and again, however quite rarely  :(

Welcome to the forum Balkor and anyone else I know I missed.  I am so ashamed of myself for not keeping up with the new members, but I am sure you will all enjoy the forum.

Hello all,

I recently discovered this site, and so far it has been a great help in my sim's attempts to fulfill their life goals.  I'm intrigued by these challenged y'all have here, but they are intimidating.  Maybe some day I'll be brave enough to join in.

Welcome sunsetsorbet. Don't be intimidated by the challenges, they can be a lot of fun and can introduce you to ways of playing you might not have thought about before.

Well, a few posts in I should go ahead and introduce myself.  *stands up*  Hello, My name is Seri and I am a Simaholic.
Admitting you have a problem is always the first step, though you guys aren't the kind of help my fiance hopes I'll get for my Sims addiction  ;)
I've played Sims since vanilla Sims 1 back when it was just called The Sims.  I had to take a break for a year (has it been two? Time flies) when the video card I replaced in my computer was too advanced for the game.  Thankfully, that computer "died" (hehe) and the new one does run it.  Mostly I'm a builder, so that's probably where you'll see me most active on the site, perhaps even in a contest or two.  For anyone from the Sims2 community I was Neberque223  ;D Yes, I was on the forums there, but only the building forums and we were nice people and kept our forum section clean with proper spelling and grammar. (Don't judge me, I'm a good person really!)
So, if anyone ever needs help with building, I'm still feeling my way around the building end of this newfangled Sims3 stuff, but happy to help where ever I can.
Insert witty comment here

Hi all!

Erm... *shuffles uncomfortably* Hi everyone, I'm Rob.

Several years ago when I created a test character in TS2's Strangetown, a scientist by the name of Strangefield, little did I know that I would become so attached to their descendants that they would be my "main" sim family.

And now thanks to an accident involving a time machine and suspicious ham sandwich, the Strangefields have come to Sims 3.  :)

I discovered the site when looking for useful Transfiguration recipes, and it's been an essential bookmark ever since.

Thanks for listening!

Hi all, I'm Tara aka Tarah aka Tarja (the last one is my real name but I don't want to confuse people with it) and I've been playing this game for too many years now. I started with The Sims, continued with The Sims 2 and now playing The Sims 3. I mostly play challenges and been wanting to start the Immortal Dynasty one even though I have two other challenges going on (Legacy Challenge in 5th generation and Wishful Living Challenge in 3rd generation). I never finished a legacy with The Sims 2 but intending to do it with The Sims 3. :)
