Ha!  I knew someone would say that.  Alas no, I live in the great state of Washington.  Almost World Adventures, but not quite.   ;)

Hehe, I am a bit predictable sometimes. :P But honestly, I didn't know where WA stands for. :$ Yes, the W is for Washington, but the A I couldn't find.

Hi guys! I just found this site while using google to find some help with Nectar Making recipes. I love the site, the guides are great and very helpful, and then I found the forums! Seems like a tight knit community full of knowledgeable and friendly people who happen to love Sims. So, of course, I had to join up.

Right now I'm currently playing The Sims 3. I have the base game, WA, HELS (not sure if that is the correct abbreviation), and Amb. Really liking Ambitions so far, though I hope they rush some fixes in really quickly. I normally play my game with aging off, because I like to invest a lot of time into one Sim and make them a SuperSim, though reading the challenges here seems fun and I hope to take part in one of those eventually.

Other things about me : I live in Goodyear, AZ. I'm 33, female, a full time Stay At Home Mom. I've been playing video games in some form since I was about 5 years old. My favorite genres are RPGs and Simulation/Puzzle games (Harvest Moon represent!) and I'm a huge MMO player (currently WoW). My other hobbies include reading, writing, and cooking. I like to watch anime, movies, and television as well, but much less than I did when I was younger.

Really nice to meet you all.

Welcome to the forum Arcy.

If I may ask, what kind of stories (if they are stories) do you write?

Hi guys!  Welcome to new members and a big hug and hello to all.  Just popping in to see what's up before I answer the demands of my Sims.  They are such nags some times!  Keep me up till all hours and then demand I fix things when I get the black screen of death! lol

Don't you just love it when you've got everything JUST exactly the way you want it before you put everyone, including yourself, to sleep and the screen goes black and boom!, you are back to where you last save was?  You know the one BEFORE the one you were just going to click on?  Sigh.

Off to fix things, although a bright, sunny, (we don't get many of them here), day in Oregon may be a huge distraction to game play.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!  ;D

When I'm in the mood to write, I tend to write song lyrics, bad poetry, and Fantasy/SciFi stuff. When it comes to longer stories, most of it tends to stay in my head since I have a really hard time putting the words down exactly the way I want them to go.

All of the states in the United States have a two letter abbreviation for the Postal Service.  WA for Washington, TX for Texas, CA for California, NY for New York, etc.

And welcome to our Forum, Arcy.  Looks like you're going to fit right in!  :)

Maybe you can use some of your story's in a sims3 story.
I sometimes write poetry myself, but can't show any of it, because I can't do it in English. I believe that you must know a lot of words to be able to poetry in a particular language. That way, poetry will be the absolute prove that someone can speak a language good enouth.

I wrote a dramatic story once about the Grim Reaper, but I hid it in my closet.

I'll post it on the Babble Thread, but it'll have to wait until Monday. And only if you promise not to laugh.
