Hey All!

First off this is a fabulous site, and a great forum and huge thanks to the Admin’s, Mod’s and of course Creator!

I have played every incarnation of Sims on PC and even tried the Sims for mobile phone (gosh that was bad) and for PS2 (that was bad too). Sims 2 was really my thing and I have every expansion pack and stuff pack there was.

I'm loving Sims 3 but as always with an open ended game was finding it a tad boring at times. I absolutely love the challenges on this site and will be participating in as many as I have time for! I found this site trying to find info on Nectar Making and for the last 2 days have been reading the forums/ site and , of course, ‘Simming’.

It's also nice to find a 'grown up' forum where, at 31, I don't feel ancient.

A little about me, I live in England with my partner and we both Sim but very differently. I'm all about the game play and will build square boxes with a reasonable colour scheme as design and building doesn't interest me, my partner is all about building and design and is currently trying out the create a worlds beta. She has no compunction about spending a whole day (real time) designing one house.

So that's me.

Cheers and see you all around!

Welcome AbyShep! My Parents tell me I should go outside more often not spend all my time playing sims! But whenever I am ready they are busy... typical! I'm lucky with two weeks of holiday for Easter!  ;D

When I was at school I had a month off for Easter! However that was weighted against long days, Saturday morning School and short Half Term Hols!  ;D

Now I work I get 4 days off for Easter and spent the whole lot with my Sims - Such a shame that I didn't find this site sooner! Discovered it on Day 3 of my Hols! :(

Anyhow, I'm in now and Lovin' It!  :D

Welcome Abyshep! I wish I had someone I knew in person who liked Sims. I try chatting about it with my family but they don't understand most of what I go on about, lol.

I actually had to give up Sims for 5 days over Easter because I had a head cold. Plus didn't have internet where we were so couldn't do internet even without the cold.

wildred - cute cat! I have a cat too, she's asleep on my lap right now, lol. I love her to bits. Her name's pixie and she's sort of honey coloured with a little bit of tabby stripes. I was told she's a 'champagne' burmese last time I took her to the vet. Ouch. She just dug a claw in accidentally while slipping off my lap.

Pallyndrome - Thank you for your comment about the cat in my avatar.  Her name is Rayne and she belongs to my 16 year old daughter.  Once again, welcome to the forums.

You will find lots of people here that can relate to the sims.  I know when my sister and I are talking about them, sounds like we are talking about real people.  Of course, to us, they are sort of real.  Welcome to the forum.

Figured I should introduce myself. I've lurked for a little while here and I don't get to play much so most of the challenges will be difficult for me. But I'm going to wet my whistle with the Baby boomers challenge. Someone has to be last right? :)

Just had a moment like this today, my friend Ryan and I were talking about Sims all throughout our photography period because we were done with our projects, and everyone thought we were talking about real life families and people! It was quite hilarious!

Welcome to the forum Delgar! All the people here are very nice, and don't worry, it's not considered last to me if you tried. :)
