My birthday's just before my school end of year exams (September), so my luck is low for the birthday present idea.  As for the coffee idea, my parents don't drink coffee unfortunately

I don't know why but with this Forum it makes it feel like the Game is multiplayer, with being able to share stories, sims, households, creations etc. it's like you share the game.

I definitely agree.  I haven't played the game yet, but in a way I feel like I'm playing The Sims 3 through other people's stories, forum posts and screenshots.

Well, I wish you luck on getting the laptop and you can wish me luck on getting TS3!  Last birthday I got the ipod touch that I really wanted (and I got sims 3 and sims 3 ambitions on it, though those are very limited especially compared to the pc game I've heard) and the one before I got a drawing tablet, so I hope you have the same luck as my past.

They are. I've seen a girl in my class play Ambitions on iPhone (or iPod touch? I don't know) - she couldn't figure out how to open the inventory.
