Qaz, hi and welcome!  Yep Joria, know what you mean by the "q"  :D

We're a great group who just love playing and discussing the sims.  (With the exception of Metro who's always "testing" his sims.  :P :D)

Welcome Qaz.  Yes, I think you will like it here.  To some of us it is a home away from home.  Is she picking on you Metro? lol.  Want me to beat her up? lol  Hey, testing these things is a hard job, someones gotta do it, right.

Psst, and your doing a mighty fine job.

You came to the right place. Welcome Qaz. Where does that name came from? Is it your own in RL, like I did in mine?
It was actually a serious question, because unless the fact that I know nobody who's name could be Qaz, I have no clue on in which country you live, so that could make sense. ;)

Thanks everyone! I really like it here. And yeah, I was tempted to add a 'u' in the name too. Ha ha. :D
Actually Qaz doesn't mean anything, it was completely random. Q, a and z were the first letters on the keyboard and I thought it was catchy, so I stuck with it.  ;D

Ooh, I like testing sims too. If I ever get curious about something I like to test it out. But I have a hobby of making mixed creature sims, like when I made alien witches and vampire servos in Sims 2. There aren't many yet in the Sims 3, but I'm sure there'll be more weird and bizarre sims to come. That's mostly the reason why I buy the expansion packs, but I haven't got Ambitions yet. I'm not getting it until two weeks. :P

Hey, I've been using the site for a while now,but just joined the forum! I plan to pick up the expansions soon and am really looking forward to them. Is the "new stuff" pack worth it?

Welcome hayshed!

Glad you decided to join the forum.  If you are asking about the High End Loft Stuff pack, I found it worth it, but that is just me.  You get a lot of high end items for your home as well as a few outfits and a few hair styles.

Yep, that's the one. I think it's pretty cheap, anyway

Welcome to our Forum, hayshed!

I love the High End Loft Stuff Pack.  It's high end and modern.  I love the modern looking clothes.  But, my taste runs toward modern rather than rustic or country, etc.

Welcome Hayshed! I don't have HEL, but I believe that's a matter of personal taste.

Hey, I've been in the forum for a few days now and I didn't see this post until now. So hi!

I'm Keenan, and well, I've been an avid Simmer since the original Sims. I've bought every expansion pack (no, not the stuff packs) of Sims 2 and Sims 3. YEAH! And I don't regret it!

P.S. Sims 2 has caused me a LOT of hardware problems, but I didn't care!

P.P.S. Sims 3 hasn't caused me any hardware problems... hopefully, ever. Go EA!
