Hello folks!

I'm bookloverblue - geek, Simmer and story scribbler from England.

I first got into the games when I played The Sims 2, and I've loved them ever since.

I like to play around with life states and create unusual scenarios, so most of my stories are non-legacy based.

I'm not new to the forum per-say, but I'll introduce myself anyway as it's been a couple of years or more since I was an active member.

My name is Neashaleigh (here), although on the Gallery it's Riverleigh (Don't ask).
My real name is Linda. You may call me Neasha, River or Linda. I'll answer to all three.

I love building lots. I was an avid Sims 3 player, but I eventually bought Sims 4 when finances permitted, and haven't looked back. Mainly because despite having a high-end PC, it couldn't handle Sims 3 very well and I suffered numerous crashes, glitches, lag and meltdowns. I have had very few problems with Sims 4 on my PC.

I don't tend to play as much as I used to, but when I do, I'll either be playing the actual game or building. I intend on uploading some of my creations in the swap-shop soon. Probably once I get over feeling like a naughty child for posting my request for a quick refresher in the wrong forum, and having it moved and title changed without so much as a "by your leave!". Actually, I won't be posting anything now anyway because it's getting late where I live and I'm tired. HOWEVER, you can be assured that I will be posting. Soon.

So, a little about me... I'm a step mum to a 19 year old son who has just started university. I live in England with my husband and 3 cats. I love art (drawing and painting), crochet, reading, watching movies, playing computer games and generally socialising with my closest friends. I'm naturally an introvert, but can become quite the chatterbox when I warm up to people.

Um.. yeah... I can't think of much else lol. I hope to see some of you round in the forums!

Welcome, Linda. My oldest girl, 21 now - oh my, where does the time go? also loves drawing and painting. She has quite a talent for it and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at the local community college.

Only two challenges are "live" at the moment (all events have start and finish dates, and we're winding down the 2016 Tournament season). Of the two, I suppose the Finale would be a bit more beginner friendly given the team allows you to use the static needs cheat.

Hey, so I'm actually an older member who's gone through a very long period of inactivity haha. But I figured why not come back and become more active again.

Anyway, I'm NexttoNormal but you can call me Gabi if you prefer. I'm a second year college student studying physical anthropology and I also plan on minoring in museum studies. I work as a volunteer at one of the largest and most-respected natural history museums in the US, and I also am a moderator on a fansite for the old game Zoo Tycoon 2. Other than that my hobbies include painting, writing, and I've been getting more into photography lately.

I'm honestly not sure if I've done this yet, but I started writing my first story, and have been one here a lot lately. So I'm Strawburries, and the Sims 4 is actually my first true sims game. I had the app a while back, but always wanted more from it, and eventually gave it up. Then, I started seeing videos on the Sims 4 all over YouTube. I was hooked. I bought it, and have loved the franchise ever since. So hi. I'm here now. I guess that's all I wanted to say.

Hi @strawburrysimmer  welcome to the forum. I write stories intermittently. I get super enthused and race into one only to get a little bored by the game play and so take a big break until the next new pack etc!
