And on that note, if you guys need anyone to write the walkthrough for the firefighter career I'd be happy to help.

Heck yeah. I like your sense humor which is always a plus for articles. Once Ambitions is released Pam and Carl and I will have a pow wow about who's doing what, so pull our chain again and remind us—that's key for Pam and I 'cause we're both pretty much at the point where we can't even remember what we had for breakfast.

Hi! I'm new here and just wanted to say hello. My name is Kicki and I'm from Sweden. I have been playing the sims ever since TS1 (in 2000 I belive?) and I'm totally addicted to it. Right now I'm about to start a legacy in my re-done Sunset Valley. Took me about 2 weeks to get all the lots done *whew* and I'm burning with anticipation to start playing  ;) Have a nice day  ;D

Pam, google "This is my boomstick" and see if you can find Campbell's speech from Army of Darkness. It's classic. Ranks up there with Bluto's "When the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor" speech in Animal House.

Ok, LOVE me some Bruce!  I knew there was a reason I keep coming here. lol

Hi, I am new here, too, and I really like all those tips around this forum. You people are so good in this game! And a lot of things about The Sims 3 I didn't even know about I could find on this website or forum.

I've played The Sims since I was 13 and I believe that was somehow in the beginning of the series. I see myself as a player in The Sims 3, because I am following just one family in the game for many generations now for most of the time since the game came out. But I also have made a few tutorials that I've posted on Youtube and build a few houses, like for example one millionaire mansion which is also shown on Youtube.

For the rest: I have made a few objects for The Sims 3 like a painted car by using Blender, Milkshape, TSR Workshop and Photoshop. I like to go into deeper conversations about The Sims since the game came so deep tpo.

And that's it I think. Happy simming everyone and talk to you later on the forum.

Welcome Leto85!  Is your name by chance taken from Dune?

We have a lot of great members here and we have a great time with the game.  There are plenty of discussion boards and places to get help, plus we also have a challenge tournament going on for 2010 that's a lot of fun.

Be sure and check out the Forum Rules, too, because there are some things that are restricted here.  I've noted from your other posts that English isn't your first language, so I'll be editing your posts for spelling and grammar.  This is common and it's not a big deal.  We just want the forum to be consistent and friendly for search engines.  I just wanted to let you know.  Enjoy yourself!  :)

Welcome to the forum Leto! Glad you've joined.

You may find me as well changing people's posts a little, but in that case I always say so in the post. Don't want to be rude, right? ;)

O, thank you for that! You've surely have permision from me to edit some spelling in my posts (as far as I have any permision to give someone permision of course :P) but know what you just started. I am about to write a lot of posts so if you really want to edit them all, you have little more time to play Sims. :P Haha!
Btw I like it when people correct me if I type something wrong, because I can learn from that.
Oh, and because of this little leanguage barriage: If I say something that can be read different than I was meaning it and some of you could think off: is that Leto85 guy bullying me or what(?): 99.9% I didn't mean it that way. I content of my posts are possitive, or at least neutral. English is indeed my second leanguage, Dutch my first. I can speak a little Spanish to, but I still have to learn a lot.

My name is indeed from Dune. Althoug I havent read the book myself, my parents did. Wasn't my alter ego on paper a king? I think than my parents has high expectations from me. :P

I will check out the forum rules. I thought I did, but I will overlook them again.
Talk to you again on a post sooner or later. ;)

Hey Leto,

I have to say your English is a good deal better than my Dutch! I have to say I have a huge amount of admiration for anyone who can type in a foreign language. I struggle to speak them let alone write them!

Welcome to the forum, I hope you find them as welcoming, friendly and informative as I have.
