Hello fellow Simmers (okay that sounded way cooler in my head.... heck it is cool
) I'm Cathair1. Don't ask, I made it up back when I was eight or so and it kind of just stuck... I use thise username any chance I can get so if you happen to stumble across another Cathair1 on another site, there's a 90% chance its me...
I started playing with the Sims franchise when my sister came home one night from a friends house laughing her butt off about how she had watched people "woohoo" in a video game. Naturally as an 8 year old I had no clue what she was talking about, and she explained what "woohooing" was (okay not really seeing as I was a child... she basically said they "went under the covers and went SWWWSSSHHHWWWWSSSHWSSSHH") and told me the game was The Sims 2 "(I'm assuming for playstation or xbox because when I was 8 the Wii hadn't come out yet). I as intrigued and started using YouTube to look it up... but not Google strangely. I think I wanted to know what she meant by the woohooing and I think my sister stopped me and spared my childhood being ruined
Maybe a year, probably 2 later my I went to a friends house and she was playing The Sims 2 Pets for Wii and I thought it was awesome. I basically played that only and many MySims games for Wii as well up until last year when I found out about The Sims 3 for Wii online. Naturally I had to have it because that sounded equally awesome. I convinced my father to let me buy it (with my money I had worked for... any other option and it would have been a definate NO) and I was pretty addicted to it until I went searching online again for a cheat or something (curse that nifty internet) and I was reading some cheat websites and realised "My Sims 3 isn't the same as others". I did VERY extensive research for a 13 year old and decided my Wii version wasn't as cool. I managed to buy the online version last July and I LOVE IT. I also recently bought The Generations expansion pack because one of my favorite parts of the game are the family oriented parts. I actually believe that was my primary goal in playing Sims... I just wanted one where my Sims could have children because when I played the Pets version on the Wii it wasn't part of the game. I felt jipped, naturally and went on my mega adventure to find a way to have a family in the game!
And here I am now.
I'm VERY eager to learn more an more about this game. I work on building a lot and often make the tiny houses in the game bigger to fit the big families I have (using a money cheat
). I stumbled across this blog looking up the rumored cheat about choosing the gender for your soon to be nooboos. After finding what I wanted, I guess I just kept reading and now its bookmarked! This is the ONLY place I go for game help anymore and I often get caught up in reading stories. And that's pretty much it
I apologize for so much but I thought MY story would sound a lot more interesting with the important details.
