Hi everyone,
I came across this site when I was desperately trying to locate what collection bits I had missing for WA, and avoiding paying £10 for the Prima guide. I liked the feel of the site so actually posted my question - I have never posted on a forum before! Plus, I found a tomb which (from my quick peek in the GAME store) isn't in the Prima guide so no way I am paying out for it now!
I am from the North-West of England, I live near Liverpool & I work in the city-centre - not too far from a certain Mathew Street.
I have played Sims since day one - blimey, did that original game have some bugs in! D'you remember, you had to install your expansions in a certain order, if you didn't the game just would not run & you had to un-install everything & put them all back on again in the right order?
I've always felt slightly guilty that I never really progressed far in Sims 1 or 2, I probably missed an awful lot, but I used to be addicted to building houses, and my sims were mainly just used to populate the houses and wander round the shops etc I'd built! I hardly ever raised a family, and the career progression used to annoy me so my sims were kept afloat by liberal use of a certain money cheat...!
Sims 3 has changed all this, I actually only got it 2 months ago (I do tend to wait a bit with Sims, let them iron out a few more bugs before I buy as Sims 1 was so horrendous, but this time I was waiting to get my own computer!) and I am obsessed all over again - but I haven't built a house yet! I love the gameplay, WA is the best EP EVER, and I am officially addicted to collecting. I also love being able to change the colour of everything, so it is all co-ordinated!
Apart from Sims 3, I spend most of my free-time being bossed around by my evil-genius of a cat, Izzy.
Err, sorry, I don't know how to be short & sweet, but you guys are all really friendly, thanks for helping me!I'm sticking around to see what more I can find out! (current obsession - the skull-cut gemstones - how cool!)
