Hi I'm Christy/zipzin and I started playing sims when they first came out, though I mostly watched.  I played a lot with Sims 2 but Sims 3 really established my love for the series.  I usually play in spurts, were I'll play a ton for a couple of weeks and then put it down for a couple of months and repeat.  I'm looking to change that!

I found the guide while I was looking up whether I should buy Showtime or not and that led me to the forum.  This all seems awesome and I hope I can become a part of the community here.

Well, I'm Katie
I go by Blondie on the web though 
I had read Carl's Sims 3 Guide for ages, but never actually got to the forum. Until today, that is

I've been playing Sims for about 5 years (since I was 11) and while Sims 2 was great, Sims 3 really fueled my love of the series. I don't plan on stopping my simming any time soon!

I look forward to doing all these crazy challenges, discussing all things Sims, and meeting new people.
