Welcome, Dr. Evulz and EgyYasmine! It is not strange to play the sims at 30! I'm 56 and a grandma and will not stop playing any time soon ;D It is fun to live through your simmies, I do it also ;)

Wow! loveSims, it's great to hear that even 50+ people, love and still having fun playing Sims, you're a cool grandma, if I may say.  ;D

Hi EgyYasmine, I'm 21 by the way and I still love playing the game. During random chit-chats with my friends in med school, I was a bit shy at first to tell them that I still play the Sims 3, I thought I was also a bit over-aged for that.
I saw a random post of a classmate that she'll be playing the Sims 3 for the weekends. So the next day, I had the courage to ask her, if what I saw last night was real, and she said Yes.

So for the whole break time we were talking about the Sims, what happened to Bella Goth, the expansion packs etc., then few friends joined us, they were surprised that their is actually Sims 3, they played the Sims before but thought they're old enough, but after sharing the new stuffs about Sims 3, they got excited and wanted to purchase it soon.

We came into a conclusion, that we really enjoyed playing the whole Sims series, and sometimes, because life's tough on everyone, we just want to do something we are kinda in control of things and we can do what we want that we normally don't have a chance to do in real life.
 :)

World Peace.

Hello...longtime lurker here that finally got around to registering. I wish the game had a lurker trait so my sims could skulk around internet forums as much as I do.

I'm a stay at home mom with a nooboo and a preschooler and enjoy simming during naps. My current wishes are "Teach Nooboo to walk" and "Eat 500 grilled cheese sandwiches".

That shouldn't be too hard. All you need is a small cult of followers. I'm sure you have one. I can't be the only one, right?

Hello all! I'm FurryJackal although on some forums (including the Sims forums.) I go by SnowJackal.  I've been a Simmer since Sims 1. Fond memories of Bettie Newbie and Bob Newbie and the Goths!  I overlapped for a bit with 2 & 3 until Generations and I dropped fully into 3, alone and love it!

I am the keeper of all things horsey-Sims in my stories and have a big penchant of yaoi Sims 'hoods! My Sims reside primarily in Lunar Lakes and Hidden Springs because I have a penchant for whimsy!

Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to the forum, furryjackal!  I hope you enjoy yourself here.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are "yaoi Sims hoods"?

Welcome to the forum, furryjackel! I too, have a penchant for whimsey, so I naturally went out on a whim and bought Katy Perry Sweet Treats, at Target, the day it came out! Normally I prefer digital, but the Sweet treats was $18, which was a huge deal, over the original $30! I still overlap between TS2 and TS3, because I just couldn't part with TS2. It's the only other game I play besides TSM.

No worries. It's an anime term for their gay fiction/anime. I use it because my males tend to lean more towards that anime 'prettiness' in style, more often than not, versus just 'gay sims'

I'm not the only one that liked that pack! I'm so glad! YAY! I saw it and thought "Awww isn't that cute?" I'm still needing to sit down and build my gingerbread house! But I pepper things into my homes here and there, too!
