Hello everyone!
I am a long time lurker/admirer of these boards. I've been using the guide for quite a while, too. I don't often join forums, but I thought I've been a lurker long enough so here I am! I've been a simmer since before the first game even came out... I remember drooling over screenshots and articles in my brother's gaming magazine when I was quite young. Since then, I have had almost every expansion for all three games and am waiting eagerly for the next one
I think I've been wary of Sims boards for the past couple of years because they can get really crowded and confused. I don't like that. I was a member of TSR's boards waaaay back in the day, but everything gets derailed so quickly there and there are just so many threads... I can't handle it. It seems like there is an expectation of high quality posts here and I appreciate that.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and maybe participating in some challenges! I started an Immortal Dynasty today... I'm a grad student with two jobs, though, so it may take a long time to complete. Still, I am glad to be here!
