Wow, that was quick. And I don't mind if you don't use the n squiggle thing, honestly my keyboard doesn't have that either. After reading those posts I have a feeling I'm gonna like it here. :D

Welcome, Extraño. I also like screamo music. In fact, I just like all music apart from most rap and modern pop.

Welcome Extraño!  I've got the alt combinations to form accents memorized, but I haven't yet memorized that for the tilde.  Now I'll have a reason to.   ;)

Welcome to the forums, Extrano! I guess we're all strange here, spending our days looking at pixels talking to each other and doing stuff.

Heyya, Extrano! *waves* (Sorry, I can't do the accents either :-[) Would it be okay if I called you Extra sometimes, I shorten everybody's names-would you prefer another? You will enjoy this forum. No doubt about it. MWAHAH...I mean, hehe.

Agreed. Just look at the Location in my profile: New Zealand, but probably glued to the computer screen watching pixels talk to each other.

That's strange? I thought it was normal, especially watching pixels grow old, get married, have nooboos, skill up, and die. What's strange about enjoying watching pixels?  :P

There's nothing wrong with it if you're looking from our point of view. But from my Mum's, yes it is. :P

Same here. Last night when I was playing Sims, it was about 12:00 and my mom came in and this was the following conversation:
Mom: Don't you think it's kinda late, and that you get off that thing?
Me: Nope. Sleeping is over-rated
Mom: Okay then. *leaves*
Me: *Grabs coffee from lap and chugs it* ;D

Hello everyone!

Even though I just signed up to the forums officially, I have enjoyed reading all the great information on these forums for a little while now. The sims and other simulation games have always been a large part of my gaming collection. (Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing, anyone?)  I have always just preferred the more dynamic, non-combat play that 'sim' type games offer. I can remember being infatuated with sim tower and then sim city for the super nintendo. I had an atari that I loved to play before all that too... oops, am I showing my age? Video games have always been one of my favorite leisure activities. I guess I am a bit of a dork for this, but oh well.

After being very impressed with the knowledge and creativity on these boards, I have been eager to sign up. I've been reading a lot about legacy/dynasties and I had a few questions. I'm wondering which board I should post these types of questions? So, yeah... Nice to meet you all!  :)

:Edit:

Thank you for the warm welcome: Simstar 3, Alexandria_, Sophie98, TheChronicR, Jessiethedog, xFezIsAFreakx, Esther 1981. I have a feeling I'm going to really enjoy my stay on this forum.

Welcome Kay :)

For questions about dynasties, I'd put them in the Immortal Dynasty thread or the Townie DecaDynasty thread, depending on which one you're wondering about.
As for legacies, I'm not entirely sure, but I'm sure someone will come along soon and be able to help you there.

Hi Kay!
I played both Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing for a long time, and I still have them. They aren't as complex and imaginative as The Sims, though. But then, I guess Sims isn't aimed at children.
