Anne, try offering to mow the lawn, wash the dog, whatever in exchange for Sims 3.

Or if you own a Western Terrier, a Poodle or any other breed of dog with obscene amounts of hair, offer to mow the dog.

:D Good Suggestions!  Lol.  Fortunately for the dog, I live in an apartment and don't have a mower nor a dog  ;)

Good news for me, after threats of decaffeinating, begging, sweet-talking, charming and dog mowing, (well, actually I just had a "casual" conversation and unlike usual had SOME persuasive skills) I think I might get TS3 in a few weeks!   YAAAY!  There are a few complications though.  The downloadable one is much cheaper than the store bought one but to download it, it would use up the amount of bandwidth my plan allows for a month, and to go over that could get rather expensive.  :-[ Oh well.  So long as I get my Sims!

P.S. BTW Pam, I have decided to just get the main game so that there is no possible illegal sharing.  :)

Hello!
I'm SedatedBeachBum and a new member to this site! Don't let my name frighten you; the name symbolizes my oddness and love for beaches.

I've played Sims for, pretty much, ever. I remember playing the very first Sims on my computer; their awkward body shapes. I remember the numerous Sims games I had for my playstation. Brings back sweet memories. *wipes tear* When Sims 2 was created I instantly fell in love. all the expansion packs only made me love the game more. hours of dedication went into every single sim that was created. Occasional I'd go through destructive phases and go on a massacre on my simmies; usually if they angered me. >:) I thought no other Sims game could ever be created to top Sims 2. then the Sims 3 was released. I was cautious at fist to be honest; afraid to let go of Sims 2. I eventually let go though and found myself loving the even MORE in depth characterization that was added to the game; personalized each sim to be tailor maid for me. I constantly look forward for what card EA games will deal next; never ceasing to amaze me.

Besides playing Sims, I am an avid gamer. Two winters ago I began playing World of Warcraft. Terribly lovely game; though sadly character customization isn't as in depth as Sims. Besides various Pc games I play, I am also a faithful console player. I own a Ps3, wii and xbox 360 (My baby). I mainly play xbox, ranging from Roleplaying games such as Fable, to first person shooters such as the Halo series. and I'm hoping that at least a handful of you know some of these games I'm rambling about.

Besides being a huge gaming nerd, I do in fact have a life. :)
I enjoy MMA(mixed martial arts) and swimming. I love animals, more so dogs. Speaking of which I own a beautiful cocker spaniel named Cocoa. Sadly she's growing into an old fart. :(
On that sad note, I aspire to become many things, one of those being a psychologist or artist. Serial killers are fascinating to me; as do zombies. I adore vintage, the 40's to 70's and firmly believe I was born I was the wrong decade. O do believe in

With that last fact, if you haven't realized yet I am in fact a women. I'm not exactly a full on tomboy but a quirky, half tomboy half girly girl.
Lastly my birthday was yesterday. day before yesterday I should say.

Alright- I'm done rambling. thank you for bearing and reading this if you did :)

I played Sims1 aaaaages ago, kinda never played Sims2, but Sims3 got me again haha :P
Having WA, AMB, LN and Generations on his way, should be arriving tomorrow  ;D
Im in a trial and error process of making lots, mostly failing tho :p

My favorite sim is a single jobless girl making money of books, painting, sculptures etc. etc. Sometimes a parttime job @ the store to get a little more cash :p

English translation for all the curious members out there:

Welcome to the forum Chantal. Little world, isn't it? Even on a foreign forum you will meet people from Holland. ;)

I hope that was a good way to shorten your name. Sorry if it wasn't.

If you hadn't already said this, I would have called her Bum, just to be cute.   :D

Welcome to Sedated (Bum) and Chantal.   ;D
