Yeah I read the Dynasty and it kinda scares me :P I'd like to try it someday but I'm also taking 400 level classes. A dynasty is way to much time for this college student. I did find the "legacy" and I'm creating my character now. It seems like an interesting challenge to do during the semester.

Welcome Nicky!  :) I started a legacy when i joined the forum and well at my speed it's still going (Over a year now!) I am just getting back into it as I have my favourite legacy heir/Sim ever! I read a lot of the stories on the forum even though most of the writers may never know it!  :P I think all of us here just love reading about how others play their games!  ;)

Hi Nicky!

Yeah, the Immortal Dynasty is a big undertaking, but really it's only slightly bigger than your standard legacy challenge (fewer generations, more requirements).  And Samoht04 is right:  I've learned so much by reading other people's stories.

Hello all. I was referred to this site by NickyDuvyrda (because I've played the Sims 3 so much that I've started to get a bit bored) and decided that it would be fun to join. I've thus far really loved reading all the legacy stories, though I don't yet have a favorite. Being a fan fiction writer myself, I think I'm going to try to start my own legacy soon, though the updates on it will probably be sporadic as I am a college junior hoping to graduate next spring. I can't wait to get started and I hope to have it up and running in the next week or so.  :)

hey everyone! My name is Frani and I've been simming ever since Sims 1. I recenly got a new computer so I've been playing like crazy again lately (well if you consider "like crazy" a few hours at night after my 2 year old and 7 month old go to bed!). I feel like I've started just about each career or scenario but I tend not to finish them so I'm really excited to try out some of the challenges in hopes that it will keep me on track and actually make me finish something I've begun. I can't wait to check everything out here and get to know everybody!

Hi everyone! My name is Keruri. I've been a Simmer since Sims 1, but couldn't play Sims 3 because my ancient computer doesn't have the system requirements to run it. I recently bought a PS3 and immediately bought Sims 3 to go with it! I got off to a bit of a rocky start since the first disc I bought errored, but I exchanged it for a less defective copy and I haven't had any technical problems since. So far I haven't really done anything besides raising a family, but hope to learn about some cool features that I can try!

I tend to create a family and stick with them until the end. This may be a very long period of time, especially depending on how regularly I play, but I almost always return to my original creation. When the original parents eventually die, I continue playing the family with one of their children -- usually the youngest, who I tend to keep in the household even after he or she has grown up. In Sims 2, I was once up to the family's eighth generation.

As for myself, I'm a university student working towards my BA in history and then I hope to get my BEd. In the little spare time I am afforded after all my schoolwork, I like to read, see friends, work out, and, of course, play Sims! (among some other games.) I also volunteer in a kindergarten class once a week if I have the time. Some people may say the opposite, but those little kids keep me sane! I'm also addicted to my phone.

This website and forum look great: informative and welcoming! From what I've read and seen so far, everyone seems very friendly, which is awesome. Hopefully I will learn some great tips that will enhance my Simming experience!
