Hi Everyone!

I registered a week ago and have just discovered this thread.
So I simply want to say hello to everybody and a huge thank you for putting up this site and forum. This place is amazing!

I've known the guide section for a while now, but only recently discovered the forum part, and the challenges. That's what decided me to register. I've since started the 'Garden of smelly fish' and an immortal dynasty. It's a different way to play the game, and this has proved very funny so far.

I discovered the Sims by the end of the Sims1. With the Sims2, I must confess I got completely addicted to the game. And obviously, the same is happening with the Sims 3 now. I have a feeling that I'm not the only one showing such symptoms around here

Hello, I've registered recently and found this be a nice place to introduce myself.
I've been playing The Sims 2 since 2005 and Sims 3 since it came out in June 2009. It's my favorite game. Once, I googled about the game and was lucky enough to find Carl's Sims 3 Guide. It was very helpful, indeed. The forum was a later discovery for me. I've been reading the threads as a guest for 2 months now. Finally decided to register. My username is a bit foolish, but I hope that I'll be able to make friends on the forum. If anyone wants to talk to me, feel free to send a personal message to my account. As of me, I'm still a school-goer, in 9th class. English is not my mother tongue, so please excuse me for any grammatic mistakes or wrong punctuation. The people here are very friendly, and the rules are quite appropriate. I'm a friendly person and would like to have some friends who play Sims 3. None of my real life friends play it. So, feel free to send me a personal message! Thanks for the guide as well.

Hi everyone this is my first day here; I've already posted in a couple other threads before I found this one.

I've also been an avid Sims follower since the first Sims, and the love story continued to Sims 2, and finally to Sims 3.  I still play 2 occasionally however it's mostly to help my mother who I finally talked into trying the Sims about a month ago. 

I found this site as a friend from another forum told me that it was a great site for getting information on the Sims 3, as well as game help.  So far this visit I've found 3 members that I know from another forum, which thrills me as I've loved reading what their Sims get up to on a regular basis.

I'm also another one that uses mods and custom content in my game on a regular basis, despite several resolves to play one game without cheating.  So far I have not succeeded, though I've made another resolve to play my most current game without anymore cheating.  I'm hoping that maybe reading about other members who are able to play without cheating will encourage and assist me in keeping this new resolve.

If not I may have to find a "Sims cheaters anonymous" club.

Welcome FireStaar1!  I used to not be able to play without cheats and got bored of the game but when I cam ehere and learnt how not to cheat I total re-discovered the game!  It's great here no matter how you play you can always fit in. Best place for Sims 3 Advice and the likes.

Which is almost exactly what my friend told me when she and I were instant messaging back and forth; and brought my curiosity up.  I think I've got quite a long route to travel in discovering the joys of The Sims 3 without mods, however if I ever get to a point that I can play my active Sims without cheating to maximize all their motives and to get them friends quickly, I'll be happy
