Fun fact: I am very likely to be the biggest Simpsons nerd in the history of humankind.

Maybe because they have "Sim" in their name? ;D

um, hi!

i'm 28, married with 3 cats and our first kid on the way.

living in virginia, usa.

never played sims 1 or 2, but when my wife bought 3 with birthday money, i started in on it.

i like to do quirky things with the game.

my current writer sim lives in a 6x6 all-windowed room with no lights at the top of a 4-story square-helix stair, for instance.

i made an insane sim in a 5x5 3-room studio where all items/walls were decorated in black vinyl and different colored lighting/flooring for each room.  really interesting reflected coloring off the black vinyl walls, there!  there was room for a bed, shower, toilet (replaced by bookcase once i had steel bladder), countertop, stove, fridge, stereo, mirror, desk w/computer, and body sculptor in the corner by the door.  so only 7 floor tiles traversable, including the one needed for the door.

anyway, thanks SO MUCH, carl, for the guides!  and i look forward to sharing ideas with all of you!

Another guy! Group hug with Carl!

Eftyen, I just wanted to say thanks again for your feedback on the proposed ranking titles. I've been giving it a lot of thought in the last couple of days and will share my thoughts soon.

Welcome to the forum Eftyen!

That little house of yours became more and more complicated for me. Think, my trouble is that I build like 3 guest rooms in my ultra-mega mansion just in case. :)

Hey! You're right! Metro forgot me!? :'(
Ivar may be an unusual name even in Sweden, but I personally think it should be considered common knowledge that it's a guy's name! ;D

Hey, if you're a guy and I didn't single you out, sorry. I was only pointing out the obvious fact that the dudes are in the minority around here. So, no need to cry, Swede. You big sissy-boy.  ;D

TY!  keep in mind, the ONLY things in the house that are not black are the strip at the top of the wall, the floor tiles (same color as the strip), and the tyberium and other non-paintable bits (wall art, etc).  all other semblance of color is a result of dull reflections off smooth black surfaces!
