Hi Everyone,

I'm completely new to the Sims games, but now that I've found them, I love them.  I just wanted to take the time to thank Carl, Pam, and all those who have written such wonderful and helpful guides on this site.  You've helped me appreciate the game so much more.

Anyway this is supposed to be an introduction post, so what can I share about myself.  We'll I'm 40ish, male, happily married male who's currently studying Graphic Design.  I don't have children I have pug dogs (which in their own ways are alot like children weirldly enough).

Any way enough rambling from me, and thank you once again for this wonderful site and all the hard work you've put into it.

Warm Regards,

Raven

Welcome to all newcomers.  I hope you find everything and you can always ask.  We are all pretty friendly around here.

Thank you all for your kind words of welcome.

So, you're studying Graphic Design.  Do you have much experience with it yet?

I don't have much experience yet Pam, but I do have a passion for it. Which funnily enough is why I got into playing Sims 3.  I'm working so hard on my graphic design studies, that I couldn't seem to relax.  I'm a long time computer gamer, but all of the games I had were too, mmm, trying to think of the right word here, hardcore will do.  Playing those games either took too much time, or were stressful instead of relaxing.  Sims 3 lets me pick it up, play for a bit, and then put it down again relaxed.

The reason I ask, Raven, is that Carl sometimes has a need for a Graphic Designer for the Guide.  If we could find one among our members, all the better.  :)

Ah OK .  Well I'm happy to help if I can, but, I'm very much a newbie at the moment.  Carl maybe better off getting someone who actually knows what they are doing ;p.  I'm just finishing up my foundation certificate at the moment. Next year I've been accepted into a Graphic Design Diploma, so come this time next year, I'll have a lot more experience.

Regardless I'm always happy to help out if I can. :)

I have experience with Graphical Design, Video Editing, Site Design, and I know how to negotiate.

Welcome aboard! I also have experience with graphic design, video editing, site design, and programming too! If you ever need help or advice with web development, I would be happy to help. It's great to see we have another sims veteran here!

Welcome Raven & Snowy + anyone else I missed!
