I know in Sims 3 they could but the offspring would be either an alien or a vampire. 100% one or the other. I am not sure what it is in Sims 4, that is a great question and I am going to try this out. In CAS you could make a family and have one be a vampire and the other be an alien and then "play with genetics" and see what happens with the kid it randomizes.

It would be cool if they made it so you could have different aspects of both.

No hybrids in TS4 your sims offspring will either be 100% alien or 100% vamp but yes... they can have nooboos together.

She just lives up to her name 'Playalot' It's always fun to explore things like genetics! But will a child from a normal Sim and alien also be either one or the other? Or will it be a halfbreed? I really should know these things by now, but I guess real life has kept me busy more often than not.

They have alien skin (or not, you can choose) and conversation options, but for the rest, they're human. They're technically not hybrids, although they look like they are. This is a hidden trait that is transmitted indefinitely no matter the number of generations.

I may or may not have been playing-a-lot  lol There's a paragraph at the end of this page in the guide that explains about alien hybrids click but really @oshizu  is the person to ask as (if I remember correctly) she experimented way (as in waaaaaaaay) more with aliens than I did.

Haha no, I have no knowledge or experience whatsoever with interspecies romance between aliens and vampires. Sounds like it would make a cool story, though.

Ah. Well, thank you for the information! It's a little disappointing that hybrids aren't a thing anymore. Oh, well. I just made an alien botanist yesterday - maybe I should have her go for old Straud. Which reminds me I was planning to make an ugly Sim today for said vampire. Thanks, guys.

Actually, I have one and posted my bug story on EA Sims site. A helper told me it could be from mods/ccs with the bug. Another simmer posted his or her vamp sim is abducted  and now pregged. I'm looking forward that simmer's story.




He had the alien ring with vampire needs bar after aging up to teen. 


He had a strange thirst moodlet for 1 day.After moodlet's gone, his plumbob ring is turned into vampire one without any specific animation.

My bug is that I can't change his hairs and clothes.
I can change them in CAS, but he just gets back to previous clothes after that in live mode. I tried to change it again after removing mods folder and repaired game but the issue is still going on.
I'm not sure this bug could be from cc/mods, that's why I wanted to know there is other simmer playing without cc/mods would have my case. I'd like to know my sim is glitched from corrupted save file or not. Even I don't know this vampiric Alien is normal or Bugged occult.

@Summers  thanks for sharing your interesting sim/alien/vamp. Sadly it will be because of the mods you are using as in a vanilla game there is no way of having hybrids. Still least we now know that a modder could make it possible!

@Playalot  It's still amazing. I love him even though he might be glitched because he still has no problem to use his alien power with vampire one.

What a gorgeous sim you have, both in normal form and alien form!!! Does he also have a dark (vampire) form?

@oshizu  He has an option 'show dark form' under 'vampire' menu, but can't customize anything. I let him show his dark form and he turned his body to change, then he showed the same looks and alien wear on dark form. I see only 'show dark form' and after that, there's no option,"hide dark form". That's my issue. I can't customize anything on alien status, disguised status and even dark form status. I can see only 2 formations in cas, but usual dark form might not be available in cas.   So partly, I agree with what @Playalot said that basically half and half is not supported. I think EA even didn't know it would happened in game and that's why his dark formation is not properly changed. I will see the answer when he grows up to YA.

I found one more thing today about him. After using alien power, he got his alien plumbob ring back. If he use vampire power next time, I guess he would get the vampire ring back. He is my treasure.
