Is there any particular reason you want to be finished by the end of December? I would like my dynasty finished for the start of January so I can concentrate on all the challenges in the new year.

^^ that would be one reason as I really want to try to do the 2011 challenges. I never had time to do the 2010 challenges. My son was in the process of graduating from high school so the first part of the year was busy with that, then he started college and my daughter moved away to college for the first time in August. I am thinking now that they are both in college I will have more time for deadline projects.
The other is boredom - after about 4-6 weeks on a particular family I get bored (especially if there are rules on what I can and can't do with them) and start thinking of other things I want to do - like now I am already thinking about creating a collector sim to just work on the various collections in the game. But if I start her now I won't go back to the dynasty family as I can't seem to switch back and forth between multiple families/save files.
And I also play LOTRO and WOW so the bug to get back to playing one of those will kick in soon too and then I won't play sims at all for a few weeks. My attention span seems to be 4-6 weeks and then I cycle to the next game.
Your Dynasty is beautiful, tj! I'm enjoying it a lot. Keep up the great work and good luck on the rest.

I should have another update posted in the morning. Artemis has been easier than Aphrodite so far but Ares is growing up quickly and he has started skilling for his turn in the sun.
