Sims 3 university game crashed, any way to recover?

Hello, just got the sims 3 University life game yesterday. I played for a couple of hours and it crashed whilst I was in CAS. Is there any way of saving the progress made and if not, are the sims in the university game generated or fixed? ie will I see the same sims that I saw in the first game? There was a couple that I wanted to invite over to my sims house later on.

If the game has crashed as you were doing something in Create a Sim, no there's usually nothing that can be done to get the process back. Unless you recently saved the Sim to the SimBin.

It's the same as if your computer crashed in the middle of playing the game. There isn't away to get the save back unless you've recently saved the game.

In my experience with University, they are mostly fixed Sims.
