I've been having some issues since the toddler update, the return of a couple of old bugs, a new graphics glitch and some freezing, down below is a list of what I've been experiencing these last few days.
Game freezing, I just assumed it happened because I played my last game in San Myshuno and I do get freezing and lag there occasionally. But I just started a new game and something happened that freaked me out. I was at the main menu screen and it froze and my laptop made a loud buzzing noise. Trying to shut the game down didn't work and I was forced to turn off my laptop.
In a recent game I created, I got the loading screen music on a neverending loop bug, nothing I tried would make it go away, except uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
In the neighbourhood screen, there is an empty lot where my Sims house should be, it doesn't show up until I start playing.
Sometimes in CAS, I see a black silhouette where my Sim should be, also if I try to exit the game in CAS, the background goes black, before I exit.
Lately my laptop has been overheating a bit while playing and even my laptop cooler isn't doing much.
I think some of these issues may be caused by an outdated graphics card or drivers? I don't think I've updated my drivers since buying this laptop two years ago, because I am scared I will accidently download the wrong version or something and make things worse.
I wanted to ask here to see if my suspicions are correct and get some advice on how to, correctly, go about fixing these issues.
