Chapter 1: A new beginning and the first 10 Salim Points:On his trip to Oasis Springs to look at some potential houses he met a lovely girl called Zoe Patel and he immediately knew she was the sim for him. He asked her out on a dinner date, which ended positively with them having their first kiss (not sure Zoe was expecting it though!)
On his first three days of his YA life Salim went to work and during his off time went in search of snowglobes in San Myshuno. His family owned a museum in Willow Creek and he thought before he left for Oasis Springs it would be nice to donate a memento of his time in San Myshuno to the museum.
During the middle of the third day he proposed to Zoe and they decided there and then to hold a wedding party and get married.
Zoe Patel is a Cheerful but Clumsy Goofball who just wants to make lots of friends. Currently she is unemployed. She wants to concentrate on bringing up a child or two into the world first.
Even though Zoe is cheerful she decided to wear black on her wedding day...
Salim did not know many people so he invited his neighbours Baako and Anaya Jang to be witness to his and Zoe's marriage.. a decision he would later regret as Baako now rings him at least once a night to hang out...
The wedding was a huge success (1/50 points)
Salim and Zoe packed his bags after the wedding and moved into Zoe's shared house in Oasis Springs.
She lives with three other sims:
Mitchell Kalani is a Lazy but Outgoing, Bro who works in the Culinary business and dreams of making people happy through laughter.
Gavin Richards is a fellow co-worker of Salim's who is a Creative, Bro with an obsession with being Neat.
J Huntingdon III is an Active Bro who has a commitment problem. He works in Tech but has aspirations to be a Bodybuilder in his spare time.
The Lot Traits chosen for the Roomie household by the watchette are : Home Studio (to help with Writing), Good Schools (for the heir) and Penny Pixies (because who says no to free money...).
Salim starts off with the following stats:

On day 4 Salim got promoted to level 3 and decided to celebrate by doing a little singing (singing is his first unique skill) for 2 points (3/50 points earnt)
You would think he would have been happier about the promotion...
On day 5 Salim got yet another (surprise) promotion
(Watchette: really wasn't expecting it- maybe because Salim was so ahead in his writing career to start?) and J turned up back at the house to announce he too has been promoted- to Code Monkey

On day 6 with the news of Zoe's pregnancy and two days off work to look forward to, Salim decided this would be the perfect time to take Zoe out on a celebratory date. He took her to the bistro for an early lunch (6/50 points).
He also decided to get to know Gavin better, since he was now working and living with the guy (7/50 points). Gavin celebrated becoming good friends with Salim by falling asleep in Salim's bed...
On day 7 in the early hours of the morning Mitchell came home announcing he had been promoted to Head Dishwasher.. he was happy now he could delegate the actual dishwashing to others, no more wet clothes...
Salim decided to concentrate on his writing and managed to complete the first step on his way to becoming a Bestselling Author, managing to pick up another point for reaching 1350 satisfaction (1290= 1 point) (9/50 points).
In the evening he and Zoe headed out to the Romance Festival in San Myshuno, as he had been missing the city a bit. He ran into Anaya at the festival who didn't seem that happy with Salim that he had not been returning any of Baako's calls.
(watchette: if looks could kill Salim would be dead)
Zoe went into labour at 11:19PM that evening and Salim and Zoe went to the hospital..where they got a surprise

Hiren Benali (the first born Heir) and Mijanur Benali, his brother (the Spare).
In the early hours of Day 8 Zoe and Salim took Hiren and Mijanur home and Salim got to know his first born Hiren (10/50 points).
At 3:56am on Sunday, the first "free day" officially started- with Salim taking family leave and Mitchell and Gavin taking vacation days (J already has the day off).
