There once was a family from Willow Creek,
who made their fortune off the backs of the meek.
But crossed a witch named Irene,
who cursed the family ugly and green,
and the family fortune quickly turned bleak.
Of the family's children, the youngest was Merope,
who naïvely dreamt of being happy and free.
She found a town called Newcrest,
and, as you readers may have guessed,
it is there where she settled in verdigris.
Our young protagonist was never one for finality,
and so we'll follow her on her quest for immortality.
Through their trials and tribulations,
and through smiles and frustrations,
the new family will put to the test their vitality.
