My bad, I guess I didn't hold onto the raw Tiberium long enough to get sick

I'm also wondering about that heart-cut method too...

Because the heart-cut is expensive, does it mean that it increases the value of the large spire?

If that were the case, then I wonder if giving it a skull-cut will increase its value...

I've only been able to see two cuts available for Tiberium:  Heart cut and Spire cut.  The Heart cut is expensive compared to the other cuts for regular gems, but it's much less expansive than the Spire cut ($1,000 vs. $6,500).  Both cuts will transform into a large Spire cut that's worth around $40,000.  I'm getting the Heart cut for all of mine.  I don't know about getting a Skull cut for Tiberium.  I think that's only available with transfigurification using the display stand.  It won't take raw gems, that much I'm certain.  I think I'll try to get 8 Heart cut Tiberium and see what they transfigure into.

You can get a skull cut Tiberium, but you will take a hit in value.  You will use the large spire cut, the small spire cut and heart cut all in tiberium and then a couple of other cuts from whatever other gem you want to add to it so that you have your 5 cuts for the skull cut.

I have tested many of the things said in here and I found out that you can't get the sickness from it raw, as far as I can tell, I haven't seen it multiply at all even on a plant, also the only way I have seen it grow is when it was cut, both cuts worked for me. Also I got a skull cut, that doesn't grow.

Tiberium will grow from its raw state if you travel with it.  For example, if you get a Tiberium in China and return home, your Sim will have the nauseous moodlet from having it in inventory.  When you remove it and set it out, it will transform into the large spire cut.

This is from my Expiriance with it....

 - Find it on Ground at Egypt
 - Or use Block Breaker with Space Rocks
 - Cut with heart (Not spire, waste of money)
 - Put it on a stand leave it for between a day - two days
 - Hover over it with mouse cursor
 - If it says Large Spire Cut Tiberium
 - Sell it.

Prices range from between 35000 - 45000 (Mine have, I think)

I think we've come to the conclusion that Tiberium doesn't multiply. No one has seen it happen as far as I know.

Don't trust everything you read on Wikipedia, a lot of it is complete nonsense. ;)

Alternatively, if you don't want to get nauseous and if you have a day at hand, leave your tiberium on the floor. It'll grow and you can sell it off straight away. I'm not sure if you leave back to home, the tiberium will be counted as mail left over which was managed to be picked up though.

I've never seen this work.  Any raw Tiberium I have when traveling just stays the way it is, even if I set it out while on vacation.

Ahh, it worked for me. The condition is, it must be cut. Don't just leave the uncut tiberium on the base home floor.

Ok, well, this has all been covered, I'm sure.  We've already talked about how it transforms from raw or cut.  It's just going to confuse people if we start over again with the explanations.

Ah, what I was actually trying to say is that you can leave spire cut tiberium on your base camp floor to let it grow into large spire cut tiberium during a vacation. =D

I did find something out though, had my sim put her tent up by the pond in Egypt where you catch the mummy fish,  why I took the large cut spire tiberium out of her inventory and put it on the ground, I will never know.  Could not pick it back up, so, there is a lone spire cut tiberium out in the middle of no where in Egypt, lol.

By far, the easiest way to get as much Tinerium as you need is to use the Dislay Table XL and put in "MIXED" items.  That means to mix up several types of transmutable items.  Gems, Metals, Relics, Space rocks etc.

Just make sure you have at least two different types on the table at the same time.  NOW add up all the values of the items on the table.  You want the total value to be between 3,500 and 4,999 for ALL the items.  When you hit combine, you will get a small spire cut tiberium.  Set it on the ground and let it sparkle for a little while and it will grow into a large spire cut worth between 30k and 45k simoleans.

If you save up 3 large tiberiums and then fill the table with other items (mixing types again) so that your total value is over 100,000 you will get a bottle of nectar worth 75,000 to 110,000.  This will rise in value about 2.5% per day if you have it in a fancy wine rack stored in a basement.  You lose a bit of value at the start, but before long, that bottle of nectar will be worth MUCH MUCH more as its value compounds similar to the compendium.
