City Living: Video Gaming Consoles

I haven't seen this anywhere on this forum anywhere, so I thought I'd post it.

There are two models of gaming consoles: GoldBox (Fun/Reliability 5, $399) and UnorthoBox (Fun/Reliability 8, $799).
They each have the same options and suboptions:

• Play (with): Single-player mode
  Your sim can play one of four games: Party Frenzy, MySims Racing, Density Effect, and Genie's Curse.
• Play Multiplayer Game (with): Local multi-player mode
  Your sim can play one of the above four games with any sim on the active lot.
• Play Online Game (with): Remote multi-player mode
  Your sim can play one of the above four games with any free sims (i.e., not working) who are friends or acquaintances but not on the active lot.
• Enter Game Tournament: Enter a tournament at Novice or Professional level for one of the four above games.

I just play-tested a Multiplayer session with my sim and her classmate.
While it obviously increased her Gaming skill, it--sadly--boosted neither her Social/Charisma skill nor her friendship level with the classmate.

Yeah thanks for adding it. I think some people browse the boards to learn all the little things that might appeal to them before buying a pack, and the guide is focused on the larger issues usually. I kind of want to make that objects section more than anything as there are a number of things like this people could make use of.. I may have missed the toilet if it were not for it being pre-installed in one of the penthouses.

I assume that we need to level up the video gaming skill in order to unlock all 4 games? I currently only have Party Frenzy available on the system I just bought for my Sims.
