Game Constantly Crashing
« on: December 26, 2016, 12:49:15 PM »
Hi! So my current save has been causing me major issues recently. My game is consistently crashing to the point where it has crashed as soon as the save loads. I think I get around 30 minutes of playing time before the game gives out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and have DEP enabled and it doesn't seem to have helped the issue. I've taken stuff out the mods folder and merged CC together and it doesn't help. I always delete cache files before playing the game. My save before this one was crashing as well but it wasn't as frequent as this one. I do have the crash logs if that's any help. I've been playing this game on the same computer for years and never had ran into an issue like this.

I've tested everything and I'm still having crashing issues but only in Appaloosa Plains (which my current save is in). Even during the factory reset it only played for 10 minutes.

I'm not sure what else could help. I've had games that I've had to give up on because they crashed so much. But that's because I had been playing them for a really long time in real-life that they've become unstable.

Something you could try is taking the family and their house into a new game as a test to see if that might help the crashing. Maybe there's just something in the actual save that has gotten corrupted.

Have you tried playing without the CC and mods as a test to see if that might help? - Move your mods folder to the desktop.

If it does, it might mean that you've either got conflicting mods/cc or bad mods/cc

Links below can help with that.

I'll try playing without CC and see if that's the problem. If not, I'll probably just move the family to a new game like you suggested
