I really enjoyed this challenge with the exception of the ridiculous amount of bugs I seemed to come across in the detective career. It is too bad as it would be fun to play if it wasn't so buggy. I have played the doctor career quite a bit in the past so I wasn't as awful as the party challenge, lol.

Doctor Heartbeat and Detective Glass are retiring with a household fund of $32, 362.
Doctor Heartbeat treated 40 patients and Detective Glass put 3 criminals behind bars (this was quite a feat)!

Total score: 32,362 x 3.30 = 106,794.6

My sims finished with household funds of 25,554.
Detective Benson closed 2 cases and Doctor Grey diagnosed and sucessfully treated 31 patients giving a multiplier of 2.75.

Total score 25554 x 2.75 = 70,273.50.

Because I'm lazy, does the game count patients and perpetrators anywhere? Or do we just need to keep track ourselves?

Thanks!

The game does not automatically track them, so you'll need to.

I just want to be clear on the rules so that I'm calculating correctly.  It states that patients must be "diagnosed and treated" to count in the calculation.  Does this mean that you cannot count patients that have already been diagnosed and you are only treating?

Welcome to the forum, @ShangoBunny! Yes, you can't count the patients that someone else has diagnosed.

Bought myself a new laptop computer for my Christmas present just for participating here and in the rival challenge. So nice to be back My sims diagnosed and treated 58 patients and only caught one criminal. I had a very hard time with the bugginess of the criminal track. Not sure if because I had been away for a while or if there are currently major issues. My former rival dynasty had maxed this career while also running her business. Anyways.....

58 X .05 = 2.90    1 X .10 = .10    2.90 + .10 + 1.0 = 5.0
Household funds 50840
Total Score 254,000

Loved this challenge and very glad to be back!!!

Adding up 2.9 + .1 + 1 = 4, so your score would be 204,960. Still a good score, though!

This was a fun challenge.  I haven't played the Doctor or Detective careers since GTW first came out.

My couple cured 18 patients and jailed 1 perpetrator for a 2.00 multiplier.  They ended up with 15,802 household funds for a total score of 31,604.

Detective career track is very buggy for me.  I would go on an APB and the perp would be nowhere in site.  If they were there (with 5 clues matching) it would say I arrested the wrong person.  Ugh.  Still a fun challenge!  Hope to participate in the next one.  :) 36 patients cured and 1 perp arrested.

$29,892*((36*.05)+(1*.10)+1) = 86,686.8

I agree that the detective career was quite buggy. The doctor career was a little buggy too, but they were both still very fun! I am really loving the short challenges - less pressure and more time for more practice runs! :)

(104 patients x 0.05) + (6 perpetrators x 0.10) + 1 = 6.80

$50,362 x 6.80 = $342,462

Congratulations, Minnie Mouse!

Six perpetrators is impressive. I can't wait to hear how you did that in three weeks!
