Butler Cleaned a Desk for 20 Minutes and then Stood Still for an Hour

Is that a glitch, or due to his having the neat trait?  However, it seems really weird to me that he didn't clean the other desks.

I am not sure, but they do stand around until a sim tells them to do something.  All mine does is walk around checking for dust.

Thanks, @Saltypaws --- At the time, everyone in my Sims' household was sleeping, and then, at work and school, so I guess that's why.  I'll make sure my Sims ask him to do what he's supposed to do.

LOL....well apparently they did solve some of the NPC AI problems with the new butler programing, but not all of them, oh well....LOL

I wonder if you have a butler and have one of those woohoo closets in your house if you then hire a maid the butler would try to woohoo the maid in the closet.

Now, my Sims' butler has begun to drink a lot.  Right now, he's sitting at the kitchen table downing his second one in a row !
