I'm really sorry to hear that your founder died, thus ending your first attempt at this challenge.
And you were doing so well, too!

I'm curious how Ulrike got embarrassed. Did you get a chance card while she was at work that resulted in embarrassment?
If she was in Inspired or Very Inspired mood, wouldn't that over-ride the Mortified mood? I had to have a sim die by mortification in my legacy and it was very hard to achieve.
I'm also curious about the best way to get a sim out of Mortified mood. Drink a moodlet solver? Or, go to a mood-boosting room then drink a Moodlet Solver?

I'm really impressed that you chose the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration for Desmond--for me, it's one of the hardest aspirations to complete!
Finally (sorry for so many questions), what happy news to hear that you'll be restarting this challenge.
I look forward to finding out if you'll be using the same founder and spouse on your next attempt.

She was out and about and got the embarrassed Moodle from talking to Desmond. I got her home and then I no sooner clicked on her to do something and she just fell down dead. 

I did not use same founder or spouse this time. For the only reason that I use painting as a crutch because I'm scared to try newer ones in a challenge!

Aw, man. So sorry! I have also had Sims die of mortification at the most inopportune times. I'll be looking forward to your next go.
