Congratulations on not only completing the Ten-Gen Townie Dynasty but also being the first to do so!
You made this challenge seem so easy, quick, and fun, but I'm sure it's not anywhere near as easy as you've made it look!

Looking at Vivian's stats, I was surprised to note that her uncontrolled spouse Aarush had earned as many promotions as she did.
Is that usual for the spouse to be so successful in their career, or did Vivian really luck out in the marriage department?

Olive picked up a promotion on a free day, so she didn't get the point for that. Also, she started at level 3 of her career (A in high school), while Aarush started at level 1, and the earlier promotions are easier to get.

This is an old thread now but I just read your story all the way through and wanted to thank you. Both the story and the way you handled the challenge are great. And so much useful info and advice.

I felt for you every time you missed the death of a previous heir since the rules have now changed. It might have been reassuring for some of the Zests to invite a parent to live with them near the end.

Recently I gave up on a Townie Dynasty because I messed it up by getting the rules wrong (therefore making it ineligible for HoF fairly quickly) and generally playing badly. But now I've read a few stories, especially yours, I'm more encouraged. Am going back to the same founder and will see if he (and I) can do better this time.
