Hello, there.  I haven't posted on this forum in a gazillion years, although I lurk frequently.  I know this challenge is an older one, but as I have been searching for both a semi-ISBI long-term challenge AND one that involves pre-mades (whom I tend to never play with,) this one has really caught my eye.  I have read all 30+ pages of this thread, as well as some completed stories, and I think I have the lay of the land.  While most questions I had have been answered along the way, I do  have a few questions regarding recent additions to the game:

1. Will there be any changes to challenge rules or scoring concerning the addition of milestones (for any age) or the Infants lifestage?

2. Shall I assume the "-10 points for controlled Sim that is a ___" also includes werewolves?  What about mermaids? (I assume all occults are subject to the point loss if they are a controlled sim.  I'm just planning ahead in case I need to seek a cure when a potential heir down the road.)

3. Are the collections in the old list the only ones allowed, or are items more recently added that can be found (such as messages in bottles from Tartosa or seashells from Sulani) or made (such as cross stitch items) allowed for museum inclusion?  (I might have missed a note about this somewhere in this long topic.)

Thank you!

Hi there, Tantara. For now, all Dynasties are basically in maintenance mode, meaning play them with existing rules. Newer Sims 4 content will not be added (unless something becomes broken). The team focuses on the Tournament challenges and keeping those fresh. The team will be adding a new Dynasty towards the end of this year, as always, and that challenge will incorporate newer content (Milestones, etc).

Haha...your forum name reminds me of a vacation I took as a little boy in Lake of the Ozarks, MO. The resort my family stayed at was called Tan-Tar-A.

Got it.  Thanks so much for the reply!  Regarding the resort in MO:  From age 7-18, I lived in Southern MO.  I had never heard of the resort, as it was not really "local" to us or a draw to us as non-tourists. Several years after moving away, I chose my username in the mid-90s when my then-toddler son was obsessed with Nick Jr.'s "Face" mascot, who made a trumpet sound like a hunting call, which is called a "tantara."  As I was an old band geek, I chose this username because I was hearing that Nick Jr. tantara every afternoon in my house!  Since then, I've had about a half-dozen people mention the Missouri resort, which I have since looked up and have thought I should visit if I ever travel back to the midwest.

Oh, my gosh! You're taking me back to Nick Jr and Face. Happy days. My two older daughters were huge Nick Jr addicts and loved Face. Remember when the original Steve left Blues Clues? Lol. My oldest daughter...sheesh...I thought she would be traumatized for life.

Greetings team.  I know that you said that the dynasties are in maintenance mode, however, I have to ask about science babies. In this dynasty, since you can adopt, can you have science babies with the spouse you move in with?

Oh, yes... Steve's departure was a Big Thing, however I don't think it bothered my son as much as it might have had he been a few years younger, as he was 8 in 2002 when it happened and thus had moved on to other obsessions.
