Added to rules:

You'll start with a childless premade YA townie (or teen immediately aged up to YA or adult or elder immediately aged down to YA). Your founder will have 10 days in which to marry and move in with an unmarried childless townie and produce an heir. (Note: if you choose one half of a married childless couple, they may stay in their house.)

How do we age down an adult/elder, exactly?  Other than in CAS that is.  Just making sure that I do it properly.

You would have to do it in CAS, and possibly use fulledit.mode.

Hello Again, I think I might have done something silly... I loved the idea of turning many townies into Vampires, then turning them back when I needed them.. so instead of moving in Vlad, Caleb or Lilith, I had my founder turned into a Vampire (I made sure to note down how many days she had before aging up) took 10 points off my score, turned the townies as necessary and then she drank the cure and then aged up to the appropriate age.. I believe I have done two things that may have meant I have failed this attempt.. One.. aged up my founder to match the correct age she would have been prior to being a vampire (I had no clue that her age would reset to the beginning YA)
Two.. Turned her into a vampire in the first place

She was only a day off aging up to Adult when she was turned into a vampire and was a vampire exactly one day before turned back into a regular sim..  I aged her up immediately into Adult so she hasn't had any extra days added to her life

I am crossing my fingers that this is OK.. but have a feeling I will need to start again..

Thanks in advance

I think you're okay. Even if you had moved in a vampire to do the turning, they would only have been able to do it on free days. And it probably wasn't necessary to age up your founder, but you don't have to start over for that. Good luck with the dynasty!

Does getting an A in school still count as a promotion or is it a maxed "job"?

It just counts as a promotion. But getting to level 3 of a part-time job does count as a maxed job.

What if an heir adopts a pet before their young adult birthday?
If an teen heir adopts a pet then becomes eligible to move out, would they be able to move that pet into the new home?

If yes, would we use the Manage Households screen (the name escapes me) that pops up right after marriage?

Sorry. I thought we'd added that pets could move out with the heir, but I guess that didn't get put in. Yes, you would use the pop-up that comes when your heir gets married.

Now that my heir-who-will-become-a-vet has a dog, I'd like to confirm the rule about life extension.

May I assume that the use of the Age-Down and Ambrosia treats is banned?

I'll have to check with the team.

We're agreed -- pets can live as long as you want.
