Start Social Network
« on: November 08, 2016, 04:48:07 PM »
I looked and looked and couldn't find an answer, so it's probably right in front of me.  First things first - I have all packs, including City Life.  When my sims hit level 5 in Charisma, the notification still says they can start a social network, but it's missing on the computer.  Would I be correct in assuming this reward got eliminated with the social networking skill in City Life and no one removed it from the notification box?  Or am I missing something?

Thank you!!

I just used a sim not in the Social Media career to check his computer options.

To have your sim start a social network, he needs to click "Social Networking..." then choose "Start a social media profile."

Right, but that option is always available now.  I meant the old "Start Social Network" under Charisma on the computer - has that been replaced by the new social networking system?  It still pops up as the reward in the notification when hitting level 5 Charisma.

@Starsha

Since the City Living EP, this is how a sim starts a social network. The action is still available, it's just worded and triggered differently.

Got it, thank you!  I was confused because social networking is available with no prerequisites, but I get an unlock notification at level 5 Charisma.  Seems like something the programmers overlooked?

Thanks again!
