Sorry but I'm new to this whole new thing and I'm willing to buy the sims 4 city living and dine out but.. I'm wondering can I install the two of them at the same time?

For example, I installed both of them therefore I can have an apartment
(city living) and at the same time own a restaurant business (dine out)

This is a two-part question, and I only am for sure on the first question.

After you've purchased City Living and DineOut, they should show up in your Origin account ready to download/install. Both may start downloading/installing right after you log into Origin.

However, if they don't. Go to the Games Library and click on the Sims 4. Scroll down past the Play button. You should see a tab called Extra Content. Click that. This will show you what Sims 4 content you have purchased.

Anything that hasn't already downloaded/installed, just click the Download button.

Yes.  You live in the apartment and work at the restaurant, I believe.  It shouldn't be any different from living in a house in another town and owning a restaurant.

I transformed Planet Honey Pop! into a restaurant, and I kept the karaoke machine.  I just opened it a few Sim minutes ago, and it's already filling up.  The host is about to seat people.  However, I don't think it will get as wild now, since it is a restaurant.

It makes sense not to want a karaoke bar directly next to your house.  Are you in the Spice District or the Fashion District?

I made the karaoke bar in the spice district into a pool and playground --- so it's right next to the basketball court and monkey bars.  It also has 2 computers, a lawn slide --- so the children in the spice district can have more fun.

@coolsim9999999 That sounds like fun.  Glad to hear the restaurant thing works.  I don't mind the karaoke bar right next to my house, (Spice district) but a better playground especially with water slides sounds like a good idea.  One little monkey bars set just isn't really enough for the kids.

@Joria --- Thanks --- yeah, it was fun.  In my game that extra playground is a big hit!  I placed some elders in the Old Salt House.  It can fit up to 8 Sims.  So, it's kind of like a retirement home.

Kind of a hard choice.  It would be convenient to put it in the karaoke bar right next to my house, (Old Salt House), but it would be cool to put it in that other one that is high up under the stars.  That one is big enough you could still have a small karaoke spot and have a very elegant restaurant as well.  Haven't really decided.  Of course, you could also turn the beautiful old, victorian style house in the park into a restaurant.  You could even have three levels there if you wanted.  Make a basement and have that be sort of like a dark, dance club area with a juice bar, dj booth, and large dance floor, have the main floor be the elegant restaurant, and have the second floor be a karaoke bar?  An inn sort of thing with bedrooms up there?  Not sure but I bet that could be one heck of a hang out then.

@Joria --- I like all of your ideas for where to place a restaurant.  I thought about that rooftop place in Uptown, but I had already placed a library there.  It is cool to read under the open sky, too.  Your big park idea sounds so cool, then, it would really be a great wedding venue and inn.
