Bugs and glitches in LN

Is it just me or LN has tons of bugs? I've encountered so many bugs/glitches that I can't even count them!
Firstly, after marrying a female sim from town and adding her with her daughter to my family I've noticed that they don't ever sleep... Reseting helped.
Then I had a problem with children, their social meter filled max only to a half. This glitch disappeared after restarting the game.
Thirdly, the baby sitter doesn't come. At first he/she appeared in neighbor's apartment in black and white, then there was no sim at all. But the funny thing is, I'm still being charged, lol. I haven't figured this out yet...
EDIT: the latest patch fixed an issue that caused babysitters to appear in private areas of high rise buildings, thus preventing them from successfully caring for the child.

And the latest one was this (I'm not even mentioning the one with sims don't leaving a lot):



The kid failed at having a birthday... It just sat there doing nothing and then his appearance changed into child's but he still stayed as a toddler. I've tried couple of times but he just didn't grow up... Then I've decided to wait for the time to pass till he'll be forced to age and that worked...

I really enjoy this expansion pack but all these problems are driving me nuts... I can definitely state that there was not a single 10 minutes play without having to reset a sim or encountering some other glitch...

No, I don't.
 
My main concern now is that bug with sims not leaving the lot, these glitches aren't that really important, because they don't make the game to run slow or anything. And mostly they turn out to be kinda funny, lol. But when it comes to this level the game starts to annoy me...

Have you downloaded anything at all from the Sims 3 Exchange?  A house or a Sim maybe?  It's possible to get bad content accidentally from downloading things from the Exchange.  Have you tried reinstalling your game?

No, I haven't. I have clean installs with no additional downloads. I just prefer the game this way The other reason is that I know about bad content and choose not to download at all. Furthermore, I recently had a clean install of Windows so the game is freshly installed too.

Same here My sim married a townie also and he never sleeps. Babysitter problem is the same, they either don't show (stuck on lot possible) and when they do show they are there for a second and collect their money.  Actually they really don't even take care of the infant.
This game, at least for me, has become a LateNightmare!

Haha, Late Nightmare here also. That never-sleeping-thing happened twice for me, once the reseting helped and the second time I fixed it accidentally by evicting the family from the lot and placing it back there.

I would really like to actually "play" the game instead of playing with "work arounds".  It has got so annoying.  When I turn the game on it is like I am now looking for something to go wrong, what problem is next-it really has become a chore instead of enjoyment.  I've never played the other Sims games-Sims 3 is my first and I really was enjoying so much.  It's to bad it has come to this.  Here's hoping EA gets this fixed soon. Fingers crossed...

Well, I've tried most of the sims games and not a single one actually had so many glitches! It feels like they really wanted to release this fast that they didn't have time to actually test it properly. I've always had some random glitches with the main game but they happened rarely and never were that annoying.

Uh-oh I was hoping that by not getting it as soon as it was released (not by choice lol) all these bugs and glitches would be fixed! I always play with needs static, so the not sleeping I wouldn't notice anyways. Fingers crossed that EA fixes the rest of them soon!
