I was shipping Zara and Miranda initially, but I've decided I'm quite happy to see her with Milo in the end. And triplets! How exciting!

Oh, how nice that the housing situation worked out so perfectly! I loved the nursery project surprise, too. I can just see Mordecai, covered in paint, hair all askew, trying to keep the secret! :)
Miranda and Marnix make a great couple. I'm sure they'll be very happy.
So excited for the babies to arrive!

Oooooh, triplets! Wow, you certainly have a tendency for multiples in this file, hey? And I'm glad that everything is going to work out - Miranda will be happy with her love, and Zara will be happy with the Miskins.

I can't wait to meet the nooboos!

Yay triplets! Zara does look absolutely beautiful at nine months pregnant. Good for you, girl! The nooboos are all adorable, but Mackenzie and his "I help" are especially precious. I can't wait to see how he fulfills his ambition to be a superhero!

Okay, two updates to catch up on!

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I've tried three browsers now and your photos just aren't loading for me. I'll try again later, and ask my boyfriend-slash-personal-IT-guy if he can find the problem, as it looks like FrancescaFiori was able to view the chapters just fine. :) Also note that the problem seems to only be with the last two updates - I went back to chapter 4-3 and those pictures loaded fine.

EDIT: Personal IT Guy came home minutes after that was posted and said it's an issue with quick (whatever that means), so in other words Chrome/Firefox/Edge are all being janky (his words, not mine). He says it'll fix itself eventually so I'll just try again later. Sorry!

@Whirligig No worries. I've used both Chrome and Firefox and they load for me, but I'm grateful to be told of potential issues. Hope IT Guy can get things going again!

Well my computer still won't load the pictures, but I managed to read the chapters on my boyfriend's computer. :)

Ch 4.4

I have so much appreciation for Zara! Diversity represent! :) (It's Mardi Gras parade day in Sydney today, and I'll be in the parade with Rainbow Families, so I'm so pleased to read this!).

Louisa, Laura and Mackenzie are so adorable! And so lucky to have so many grown-ups around to look after them. :) Mackenzie is especially adorable.

Ch 4.5

Woot, two beautiful weddings! Congratulations to both happy couples!

Also, Roxy is pretty cute, definitely strong-willed (in the best way possible). I think Mac's going to be the sidekick, whether he likes it or not.

Ch. 4.6

Awww, Mordecai! :( I mean, I knew this was coming, but aww. So sad to see him go. And poor, poor Lily.

Roxy's story about her parents was pretty sad, too. I'm glad she was able to confide in Mackenzie. Maybe she will learn to trust him more one day?

I'm going to miss Mordecai. His story was so great and so unusual. I'm glad he found his own particular breed of happiness in the end, and I hope Lily doesn't have to be without him for too long.

Roxy seems like a wonderful friend for Mackenzie to have right now. I'm glad they're besties, and I hope he can eventually help her to move past her grief and consider loving again.

Oh, poor Mac! Cut off at the knees before he even got a chance to get it out. That's a heartbreaker.

I'm glad Lily and Mordecai are reunited, and that he came to shepherd her over to the other side. :)

Update 13/03/17. Generation Five has begun!

Twelve years have passed. At the local police station, the names "Miskin and Rhodes" have become synonymous with crime-solving. Roxy remains a "wild child", and Mac is still unlucky in love - the pressures of the family legacy now beginning to weigh upon him.

Meanwhile, a local crime wave is about to hit a little closer to home...
