Can we make use of the lot traits that came with the update yesterday?

No. Lot traits are banned for this event. I will note this in the rules.

Isabella is officially an elder. The Willow Creek Renaissance has come to an end. This challenge was a lot of fun!

Here's my score calculation:

Isabella da Vinci (original):  10
Household #1:  3 x 10 = 30
Household #2:  2 x 10 = 20
Household #3:  (3 x 10) + 6 = 36
Household #4:  6 + 6 + 6 = 18

TOTAL: 114

So, I have that as Aspirations = 90. Milestones = 24, correct?

Aspirations completed: 12 X 10=120
Milestones: 3 X 2=6

Final score: 126.

I was literally 1/2 of a skill point away from completing that 13th aspiration. Blargh.

@reggikko --- Awesome job!  I was that close to getting another milestone, too.

Lorna Progaoras completd the Renaissance Sim Aspiration herself for 10 points.
Household #2 had 3 complete the Renaissance Aspiration for 30 poiints.
Household #3 had 1 complete the Renaissance Aspiration for 10 points and 2 complete 1 milestone for 4 points.

 Aspirations:
5 X 10 = 50

Milestones
2 X 2 = 4

Total= 54

Um, I don't really use cheats, so where would I find this one? I'm assuming it's testingcheats, but, do we have to shift click each sim? Or is there a "global" needs decay freeze?

Also, my Sims update keeps timing out (I hate our ISP) so would it invalidate my score because I'm not updated to the latest patch?

You type testingcheats on, and then shift-click on the mailbox. You should select the option "Disable Household Needs Decay." As for updating to the latest patch, keep trying, but if you can't do it on your computer, that's okay. I don't know whether you'll be patched automatically if you add City Living; someone more tech-savvy than I am would have to answer that.
