Spawning
« on: October 05, 2016, 02:44:21 PM »
Hello.  How and when do I use the spawning in buydebug cheats?  Do I use it to "spawn" different objects in the Sims 3 worlds?  Just wondering.  Thanks.

You can place spawners where you want, on your lot, on community lots, almost anywhere. It's essentially if collectibles never appear in your world. In custom worlds, for example, or if you really can't manage to find a particular collectible you want. For example, in my world I waited years and years to find a pink diamond but it never appeared where it should normally appear, so I eventually got enough and placed a rare gem spawner on my lot and the day after, I found a pink diamond there. I also like to place butterfly and wild flower spawners on my lots just because it makes the lot look prettier.

Candyd, thanks very much for your response.  I think I will try spawning insects.  I have a difficult time finding insects such as scarab beetles and assassin bugs in World Adventures.

The collection helper reward is always useful (40000 lifetime happiness points). You can set it to show bugs on the world map.

For the scarab beetles and assassin bugs, they can be tricky. They also only appear once or twice a day so if you're at the spot and they don't appear, just wait a while. I think the beetles appear at night.
