Moving Electronic Arts folder to D drive
« on: August 31, 2016, 09:14:55 AM »
Hello!

I have both Origin and Sims installed on my D drive because that's where I have space, but still EA have put the mods folder and all that on the C drive. I have tried to reinstall the game to see if it would change, but for some reason it insists on getting it on the C drive. So I'm wondering if I can move the whole "Electronic Arts" folder which is in "My Documents" to the D drive just like that or what I have to do to make it work. I hope I make sense.

Yes, but it needs to be done in a certain way. It can't just be copied from one drive to another, as Sims will not know the new location, and therefore create a new user folder.
