Can't progress in "Baking the Keystone" adventure? *Fixed!!*
« on: August 25, 2016, 12:30:25 PM »
I've gotten to the "Baking the Keystone" adventure where I am instructed by Abi Yat Sen to visit the Academy and the Scholar's Garden with a heart keystone and deliver it back to her for completion. Well.....

-I have the heart keystone
-I have visited both (and stayed extended periods of time)
-I have also tried running to these locations, teleporting to them, and going all over the town in case it required a lot of distance-movement to trigger completion
-There are no areas to use the keystone in - it's just supposed to be in my inventory

And I am not yet able to "deliver" it back because my sim "has not completed everything required for this step of the opportunity". I have no idea what to do and I couldn't find anyone else having an issue with this adventure anywhere else so I really hope someone can help me! I'm supposed to return home at the end of the day and I don't want this mission to be incomplete.

I haven't played with World Adventures much, but did some searching on the problem.

Here's what I found that might help:

Game Help:Sims 3 Adventures/Baking the Keystone

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I've tried both of those and the first link says to do what I've already done and the walkthrough links only go in-depth with the tombs, not the easier tasks. I appreciate it though!

Hmm.. Have you tried resetting the town/household?

Reset Town, Individual Sims and/or Evict Household
http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/forum/index.php?topic=20732.msg401812#msg401812

Thinking something may have glitched and not registered as completed? I've had that happen once in one of my games.

Something else that might help is going back to a previous save.

I did the resetsim code and it worked! Still beating myself up over the fact that I didn't consider doing it, but thanks much!
