It there a way to turn this option off. The monsters have kept my kids awake three nights in a row and they are too tired to do anything. Arggg, so frustrated. My sims are not getting enough sleep!

You can have a parent spray for monsters beforehand to keep the monsters away. Also, you can get the Coolala the Defender nightlight (one of the wall lights). If you leave that on, the monster is not supposed to come.

If you buy the special Coolala night light and make sure it is always on in the kid's room, the monster shouldn't ever appear. The monsters sure do cause a lot of sleep loss!

*grins* Sometimes when they introduce a new feature/mechanic, I wish EA/Maxis had the foresight to also include the option to turn it off from the start.
