Sims 3+4 on my Brother's Laptop?
« on: June 20, 2016, 04:40:25 PM »
Hello! My brother has been looking into new computers so that means I might get his. I can't exactly install Sims on it yet because it is still his laptop. I was just wondering how well his computer might run Sims 3 and 4 with most of the expansions and cc on medium/medium-high settings, or if it could even run on those settings... It's about 3-4 years old so keep in mind it's not brand new. I'm also not great with computer specs, please tell me if I missed anything that can add to the overall performance of the two games.

Model: ASUS Notebook G74Sx Series
OS: Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M
Thank you!

The laptop has below recommended specs and most likely won't be able to play either game very well.

It maybe best to wait until you can afford a better laptop or desktop to play the games. As you'll have a better overall gaming experience.

Yeah, I had a feeling after I looked more into your guy's requirements. I'll look into buying a new laptop for myself. Thank you for your help.
