Great update. Welcome to the new Flanagan, Marquinn. I like the way Quinn is doing her heiress duties. Stuck in a wash basin. That was hilarious . Looking forward for next update.

Another lavender-haired spouse! It must be a recessive hair color!

I love Peasant! Can't wait to see her nooboo!

Yes!
We have a boy Flanagan! This is exciting!
I need to play a wee bit more on my Nixes before I update again. Anastasia went and... stole the show as she usually does.

Anyways, this was a fantastic update! Queenie has decided her (very lucky) spouse, and peasant has brought into the world a Quinn variant.
The only thing that would make this better is if the real Quinn would drop his 'tude and let him be interactable again... ;)
Yeah, I'm not sure what happened with Quinn.  I've never had that in a game before.
Looking forward to that next Nix update!

Great update. Welcome to the new Flanagan, Marquinn. I like the way Quinn is doing her heiress duties. Stuck in a wash basin. That was hilarious . Looking forward for next update.
I also rather enjoyed the whole nonsense of the queen as the maid stuck in the sink!  Such great, funny things happen in the Sims  :=)

Don't worry.  It will be our secret.

I love Peasant! Can't wait to see her nooboo!
I had been hoping that either Queenie or Peasant would have gotten the lavender hair, but they're still awesome even without it  :=)

The Flanagan Decadynasty--Asking for Her Hand...
« Reply #154 on: October 28, 2016, 11:10:06 AM »

A proper young gentleman will always ask a father for his daughter's hand.
Puzzle:  But this ghost guy isn't her father...

Quinn:  I like your sense of style and your hair.  You have my permission.
Puzzle:  That's good because...
Quinn:  Let's play catch!

Pippin:  And that is all Quinn ever wanted to do anymore.
Quinn:  Being a ghost gets so boring!
Pippin:  Anyway, with permission in place (and a child already born), Peasant finally gets her prince charming.
Queenie:  But way less charming than mine.

Pippin:  Apparently, something was done incorrectly with the set up of the chairs as everyone refused to sit, but it was still a lovely ceremony.
Queenie:  But not as lovely as me.

Pippin:  And after the celebration of the wedding, we have another celebration.

Shawanda:  Oooo!  It's my birthday!!

Shawanda:  Owww!  It's my back!
Patches:  Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Shawanda:  You'll pay for that.
Patches:  You'll have to catch my first, granny!
Pippin:  But someone else was also having a birthday.

Pippin:  Marquinn, who was never shown aging up to toddler, becomes a child.

Pippin:  And he's still not a rainboo.
Peasant:  Hey!
Pippin:  And Queenie, who has been very rapidly progressing through her requirements, thanks to a moodlet mobile and a very determined watcher, goes to visit her sweetie.

Donte:  Sorry, I got old.
Queenie:  You look so sophisticated!
Pippin:  Sure.  Sophisticated.  What a nice way to say "old."  Anyway, with the aging up of her future spouse as motivation, Queenie rushes off to Egypt to knock out some more BlackOps while time back home stops moving.

Pippin:  And upon her return, Queenie continues hitting every available party in addition to throwing several.

Queenie:  You want to give me campaign donations, right?
Sophie:  Do I know you?

Queenie:  ...so, your campaign funds would be quite...
Liddell:  Look at my sweet granddaughter being all professional!
Queenie:  Ugh.  So embarrassing.

Pippin:  Meantime, Peasant keeps gardening and helping us out with money bags from money trees as the items left behind.  She also looks awesome in her peasant garb.
Queenie:  But not as awesome as me!

Pippin:  Yes, Queenie and her crew are highly fashionable.
Ghost of Quinn:  Yes they are!  Now who wants to play catch?
Pippin:  Meantime, as she is almost finished, Queenie bought some beachfront property and built this little party place on it.  In the winter.  The time when beaches are most popular.

Queenie:  Party time!  Let's get a few more contributions to guarantee my promotion to level 10!

Pippin:  And the random genie that came from the lamp that...I think Bunny had...randomly freed himself and shows up at every party whether he's invited or not.
Genie Guy:  Is it hot in here or is it just you?
Peasant:  No, that's me!

Peasant:  It was cold in here.
Pippin:  And as we draw near the end of Queenie's time as heir, we also draw this update to a close.

Oooh, Marquinn looks adorable! Great genetic combining there, Peasant and Puzzle! Looks like Marquinn got the lavender hair?

Wait, wait...we draw near the end of Queenie's reign? Queenie has certainly been very very busy but what about the next heir? Oh, okay, I'll wait.

Come'on Queenie! You can do it!
I love the Ghost of Quinn stopping in. I imagine life in the grave to be pretty boring. Good thing he's solid enough to lift a ball?
Either way, Marquinn is growing up very handsome, even if he does lack certain pigmentation.
I also hate how no one in the history of ever has ever sat down at a wedding.
"Look at all these nice places to sit!"
"Oh, but this place standing in front of the happy couple so you can't get pictures looks even better."
Oh Sims...

Also, I was really happy to see Liddell. She's gorgeous. Did you age-freeze her?

The Flanagan Decadynasty--The Cleverly Named 2-Part Update
« Reply #158 on: November 02, 2016, 01:32:36 PM »
* This update got accidentally too long, so it will be given in two parts *

Sometimes the burdens of being a celebrity can outweigh the joys.
Queenie:  Go away, nasty paparazzo!

Papparazzo:  But I love you!

Queenie:  Oh, well that's okay then. You may stay.
Pippin:  And love was definitely in the air.

Puzzle:  I love you so much.
Peasant:  Stop talking when I'm kissing you.

Patches:  Thanks, Queenie's boss, for giving her that promotion.
Queenie's Boss:  Sure thing!

Queenie:  So, I finished all my requirements, and somehow you managed to live long enough.
Donte:  I was very determined.

Queenie:  And here's your reward for your determination.  And...

Queenie:  will you be my live-in slave/husband?
Donte:  Of course!  And that ring, while a bit effeminate, is quite beautiful!
Queenie:  Of course it is.  You may give this ring to me now.
Donte:  I...what?
Pippin:  But we waited a day for the ceremony so this could happen.

Marquinn:  I'm going to go through a rebellious phase!

Pippin:  He's so not a rainboo.
Peasant:  Hey!  Not cool!
Pippin:  And at long last, it's Queenie's turn to approach the wedding arc and the unusable chairs.

Pippin:  And immediately after saying, "I do," the happy couple ditches their own party to head home.

Pippin:  They're working extra hard to make sure the next heir comes along really soon.
Donte:  We also need to work hard to achieve my lifetime wish so I can leave a large enough tombstone.
Queenie:  I don't want to think about that.
Pippin:  And their hard work pays off.

Queenie:  We're going to have a baby!
Donte:  I'm so happy!

Queenie:  And our baby will be beautiful just like me and your mom.
Donte:  Yes and...wait...what?

Pippin:  See?  I told you your mom was in this show.
Queenie:  Her name is Bunny.  She's not an actual bunny.
Pippin:  Just keep watching.  I'm sure she's on here.

Pippin:  What are you doing, Donte?
Donte:  Fulfilling wishes so I have a large enough tombstone.
Queenie:  I don't want to talk about that!
Pippin:  And eventually, labor day arrives.

Queenie:  That pun was terrible!

Pippin:  And yes, dear readers, we have our first male heir, Cheshire.

Pippin:  And his twin sister, Cat.
Donte:  (pops wish to have a son)
Queenie:  (pops wish to have a child with Donte)

*End of Part One*

Pippin:  Looks like we'll just have a live-in babysitter for a while.

Babysitter:  It's okay.  Everything's under control.  Two babies are no real challenge.

Pippin:  Well, it won't be just two for long.  Anyway, I'm sure your mom will be on this next episode of the kid's channel.
Queenie:  Well, okay then.

Pippin:  Oh, right.  There are three dogs living in the house.  I kind of blatantly ignore them, so...
Donte:  I pop wishes to feed them so I can work towards that larger tombstone.
Queenie:  Not.  Another.  Word!
Pippin:  ...
Donte:   ...
All Three Dogs:  ...
Queenie:  Okay, you may speak now.
Pippin:  Before the new bundles of joy arrive...

Pippin:   Aww, Cat has purple hair!  Can't she be the heir?
Queenie:  No!
Pippin:  Okay, guess one should not challenge the queen on anything.

Peasant:  I wouldn't.
Shawanda:  Definitely not.
Puzzle:  I did once. She put me in the hospital for a week.
Pippin:  And baby day number two finally arrived.

Pippin:  Ummm...is your hand reaching through your stomach?
Queenie:  Mothers are capable of amazing things!

Queenie:  A girl!  I'll name her Princess because that just makes good sense.  Oh.  And I had another girl.  I'll name her Donette after my sweetie!
Donte:  Thanks, honey!
Queenie:  (pops wish to have another child)

A big thank you to Donte for patiently waiting for Queenie to get all her other stuff done first.
Wow, but Queenie and Donte waste not even a second to make up for lost time.

Awww, no purple-haired heir? :(   Need it be the firstborn child?
Your shot of Queenie holding the newly born Chesire is absolutely stunning! She is, of course, always beautiful, but I find that shot of her the most beautiful. She glows!
And what do you attribute to the newlywed's flurry of frenzied nooboo-making?

Donte, best wishes to you in your pursuit of a large tombstone! (You're a vigorous ole geezer, aren't you!)

Poor Cheshire... surrounded by girlies.
At least they're cute girlies!

Holy cow, Pip, you're really bringing in the kids this generation. You're brave... XD
I can't wait to see how Cheshire grows!

Yes, it does need to be the first born (or first named, technically).  Still, just having a male heir for a change is enough given this dynasty so far  ;=)  It's been a shame, really, as there are so many lovely females who could have been spouses for male heirs earlier on, but I missed out on that for many of them.
To be honest, part of the nooboo making was to help prolong Donte's life.  I've noticed that fathers-to-be have never died while the pregnancy was still ongoing, so I was trying to buy him more time (plus I was pretty sure that they'd make BEAUTIFUL nooboos).

Great updates. A nice welcome to all the new Flanagans. Really wish Dante fulfill all the given wishes and the Flanagan's get a larger tombstone. Looking forward for next update and next Flanagan.
Donte really stepped up to the tombstone challenge for me.  I've only gotten the medium ones so far, but anything bigger than the ground plaque gets the job done.

Finally caught up! I agree with you about the purple hair. I would have loved if Cat could have been the heiress with that hair. Gotta love funky genetics  :)
Cat does end up rather stunning and the purple locks only accentuate that.  Cheshire's a rather handsome fellow, though, so no worries.  Plus, he has the potential to create a future purple-haired heir or heiress, so fingers crossed!

Couldn't help myself.  When you see how not-just-cute-but-lovely the kiddos are, you'll agree that it was the right choice  ;=)
