Why Are There So Many Girls With The Clown Hair All Of A Sudden??

Since the update from 2 June, a LOT of random townies have clown hair. It looks pretty stupid. I'm quite fine with a few sims having the hair, but this is getting rediculous  Are there people who've experienced the same 'problem'?



I just went to the park and there are three women already (you can't see it well on the screenshot, but the ones with a red line have that hair).

I have the same thing happening in my new game file.

Ugh, luckily this hasn't hit me yet. (Now that I've said that you'll all know what I'll see in my game today...) I guess you could quickly use the 'cas.fulleditmode on' and shift click them to change their hair. A pain though and something I've seen mentioned as a bug quite often. Even weirder though, this particular issue was addressed in the May17, 2016 Patch

So, that means EA bug report time: Townies with Clown hair
Adding a me too is the best way to let the guru's know this is still happening. Even better if you can make a post with details about the save file.

@playalot I was thinking the same thing, that I remember reading that they patched it in the patch of May 17. I'll adress it on the EA forum for bug reports

*face palm* started a new game and yep, jinxed myself. Added a 'me too' on the bug report. *sigh* I guess it was just a matter of time. Luckily my older save (which I adore) still hasn't had this issue, it's seriously ugly! I just had to delete the townie with the clown hair. lol. It's just too much to ignore.

*edited: Just out of curiosity I have been starting new games all morning to see if clown haired sims will spawn. And yep, in all my new files there are out of the world NPC's/townies with clown hair. Was your game started after the most recent patch @MissZoef  ?

I have this, too, and my random clown townie also seems to be sad all the time. She's been a customer at my restaurant every day and sobs through her meal. She's not labeled as being the actual tragic clown. Does having horrible hair make sims sad? I mean, I can't blame her. I'd cry, too. She's not good for business, though.

Oh noes! Least you can change their hairstyle in the wardrobe that came with Get Together!

Although I really hope they fix this in another patch. It looks so silly. I also noticed a few guys with the hair too.
And what @FrancescaFiori said: they feel sad most of the time. But I guess I would feel sad as well with such hair

I'm sorry, ladies, but I laughed all through this thread. Has to be one of the most aesthetically offensive bugs of all time!
@FrancescaFiori  Oh wow, I can see how a crying customer with bad hair would have a negative impact on your restaurant ambience.
I love that Playalot deleted her clown lady, hahaha. Maybe equip all parks with closets, lol.

Having said all that, I'll probably open my game today and find the same thing.

@Oshizu hahah, I must say it's pretty silly and a little amusing too, however it's kind of a nuisance when it's this much xD I feel like starting up my game later and counting the townies with that hair. It's at least five and I bet there are more :-| lol

Well, the plot thickens. I invited one clownie over and tried to change her outfit in the closet, and her hair in CAS is normal! The clown hair cannot be changed, because CAS doesn't even acknowledge that it's there! I guess I'm we're stuck with morose, style-challenged ladies until a bug fix comes out. Yikes.
I thought of deleting her, but now I know she's actually quite cute without the clown hair. Poor thing.

Omg really? I haven't tried it out yet, but after reading this I might as well not try it out :-P I guess my dynasty family is stuck with a lot of sad townies with ugly hair 😰
