@MarianT Thank you for starting this wonderful thread--it's such a great idea and offers so much fun and inspiration! I especially like that you showed us how your restaurant started out and how it grew. I've only built a restaurant in Manage Worlds/Build mode and haven't started one from scratch yet, so I found it fascinating. I'm impressed at how quickly you could start upgrading your restaurant--both in interior decor and star rating.
@Kamxam Your Roman restaurant is so lavish! I can't even imagine how long it would take for a sim to start from scratch and work up to building that! It's a fabulous restaurant!
@MissZoef The white and light brown tones of your restaurant are very soothing and the outdoor patio is a great touch. Don't kill me, but I couldn't help but look carefully at your images then think to myself, "But where the girls with the clown hair?"
@MissTrips What a summery feel your restaurant has! And the little decorative details with the nautical motif are perfect. Which lot in Windenberg did you use?
Brilliant idea to color-code the bathroom doors--so hard to spot the symbols while playing.
@officialghosts Your unnamed restaurant looks like somewhere I'd love to go for brunch! The layout is simple but the interior decor is so relaxing. I like how you divided up the dining area with screens instead of a wall.
@Nettlejuice once remarked that she'd replaced a table for eight with tables for four and that the tables for four became very popular, just fyi.
@Kamxam (again): you are obviously a fine builder!
@Ricalynn Sleepy Sundaes--what a perfect name! So hilarious that you can specify that diners must wear sleepwear. And now we all know that Marcus Flex sleeps in those pink boxers, lol.
I really like the squares/diamonds/circles of intense colors against the white flooring, with the pastel-hued wall panels and posters/paintings indoors.
Sorry for being so verbose! I'm just so excited! Thanks for sharing, everyone!
