Game quits responding when Internet is off?

Hello!

Does anyone else have trouble with their game when their internet is not on?

My internet connection is currently down so I decided to plays some sims 4 to pass the time but I only can get so far before my game "quits responding". I never have this trouble when my internet is on, the last time this happened was about month ago or so when my internet last went down.

Any solutions to this would be greatly appreciated!

I've had my internet go out, and I'm still able to play Sims 4 just fine.

What will/should happen is Origin will ask you to login with username/password. There will be an Orange banner at the top of the Origin sign in saying: Online login currently unavailable.

Type in username/password and then it logs into Origin in offline mode. And should be able to play game from there. There will be a banner up under the Origin menu that says Offline Mode. The games you have already installed should be available to play. Click Sims 4, it should be ready to play as normal.

As for it not responding. I'm not sure why that's happening. Maybe try closing out of Origin. And login as shown above.

That's what happens and for some reason it will still crash after playing for a certain length ( sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes a half hour) . What's weird is a few months ago I had no problem and could play for hours offline but these last couple it's been really difficult.

Ah okay. It sounds as though playing offline isn't the real problem then. It maybe more of a side issue. What sounds like the main issue is that your computer may be having a hard time playing the game.

Each patch adds new stuff and borderline computer can suddenly have issues with what worked before.

Why would there only be problems when my computer was offline though? I can uninterrupted just fine online.

I'm not sure what to suggest. Other than to try repair game, if you haven't already.
