Benefits of using a Desktop PC to play?

Hi there!  I have taken the initiative to switch a) learn how to make a computer, and b) play the Sims 3 on a desktop PC.  I know that playing on a desktop and/or PC is better than a mac (which is what im using now), but I wanted to know what the other benefits are, if there are any.  I use mods and cc quite a bit, and face the common problems of those and of using a Mac, like any other Mod/CC-using Mac player.

Good question!! You get better specs for lower price and PC (desktops) are easier to upgrade or be upgraded if when needed/wanted.

The desktop doesn't come with monitor, but those are easy to find.
