House Fire

My sim is visiting a friend and her kitchen is on fire. I cannot call the fire department, nor can I put out the fire. What do I do?

Well, I was finally able to get her to put the fire out but not before she lost a friend. Now, where is the cemetery again?lol

Your sims often automatically try to extinguish the fire. If not you can direct your sim to extinguish it by clicking on the fire. No NPC firemen in The Sims 4!

They kinda try to extinguish it, but sometimes they give up. Fortunately, I was managing the Landgraab house, and they have a sprinkler system. Everyone was tense, so I took them to the museum, to get cleaned up & de-stressed. They lost the stove and a counter, though.

where are the firemen? that use to be a career. I miss them a lot.

Yeah... firemen NPC's or as a career choice haven't made it back so far. You can buy the fire alarm system that has auto sprinklers that will extinguish the fire for your sims. I try to remember to place that on all of my houses, unless I actually want a fire that is!

I found the alarm. I miss the firemen and my friends kitchen as well as her husband were lost in the fire. I put the alarm in all my sim houses now. No more fires until there are cute firemen, lol
